Booked a table a couple of weeks before our break in Blackpool for 7pm. Actually on the day we called in to see if it was possible to change it to 5pm and they altered the time without a problem. We arrived and were shown to our table. Scarlet was our waitress and what a lovely, attentive and friendly lady she was. Served us fantastically and even after our mains she didn't rush us in any way which was nice to see as normally other establishments want you 'fed & gone' so they can get another customer in. Our meals were beautiful. Festive chicken goujons and cheese fondue starters and then festive turkey roasts for mains. Orange Matchmaker Sundae and ape pie & custard finished the meal off perfectly. The Red Lion is a great place to dine, friendly staff that are constantly on the go. Thank you Beefeater for your great service, and especially Scarlet for being a star ??Dietary restrictions: We were asked about any allergies or requirements

Fantastic All You can eat breakfast. Great to see quality vegan options available Garden Gourmet Sausages and 'This isn't' bacon freshly cooked to order. Unlimited coffee and mushrooms (which others places charge for) The only negative was there were no muffins or crumpets (both vegan) although they are listed on the menuVegetarian options: Garden Gourmet Sausages and This isn't bacon available

Never been out for Xmas Dinner before but we weren't disappointed. Early booking but never felt we were rushed. A very attentive waitress but again not overly intrusive. Food was excellent and overall an enjoyable Christmas

Visited the Red Lion as part of a party celebrating the life of a friend after her funeral service. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Gluten free requirements were dealt with very efficiently and with excellent knowledge of the need. Food was of high standard.

Main meals were brilliant but the cheesecake was a little disappointing as it didn't really taste of much. We still had drinks but were asked to vacate the table at 5 to 6 as there was someone else booked in at 6. No problem as the waitress said we could go and sit in the bar area, only when we got to the bar area there was nowhere to sit as it was full. After about 5 mins someone left so we grabbed their seats and ordered coffee. Coffee was also pretty tasteless and nearly cold. Staff were very good though and very pleasant and attentive.

4 adults 1 child, Fish and chips great, chicken skewer and salad lovely, gamon, little tough and hard fried egg. Unhappy with £3.80 for 1 coke and ordered fish bites got chicken which grandson didn't want, waitress admitted mistake but we paid £6.99 for uneaten Childs food.Wheelchair accessibility: Good

We had a large party of 17 booked at the last minute because we'd been cancelled on by the place we originally booked. They put together a table and squeezed us in within half an hour. The service was great and the food was lovely. The food did take a while to arrive but for a busy Saturday and we were a last minute booking I can't take a star off for that when they helped us so much on short notice. Definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and some vegan options too.Dietary restrictions: They were great asking about allergies and making sure everything was suitable for us

Staying at the Premier Inn next door and just went to get dinner to eat in my room.Staff were helpful and the food was delivered quite quickly.Ordered the beef and ale pie which was delicious but it was served with hard garden peas and mashed potatoes that looked and tasted like they were yesterdays!

I am not from Blackpool but we have family there they suggested that we eat there I don't do Sunday lunch as a rule but me and my husband has a Sunday lunch share platter which was the best thing ever we were blown away by the amount of meat and vegetables were oon it I would definitely tell you to have this if one of you likes to eat. Alot and like myself I don't eat that much and it's usually waisted so this was just up my street
