Very disappointed. Not a patch on Scarborough Sea Life.

After a recent visit to the Sea Life Centre, We all had a fantastic time. The Youg Lady, Ri, who gave the Talk about the Sharks etc was Wonderful. Ri is very knowledgeable and obviosly enjoys the work She does.

The sea life centre in Blackpool was one of the best we have been to, as always it's a bit expensive for what it is that said good to kill a few hours

This place is lovely!! The staff are all really nice, polite, and eager to answer questions. There is plenty to see when you take your time, and a map is provided to help navigate each section. You can pay for a photo collection at the end, and there is a cafe and gift shop.I would recommend this for both adults and children it was lovely.

Nice place to visit. Maybe a bit quick getting round, having said that we did have our impatient toddler with us. Enclosures are clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly. It is expensive though. If we want the animals well looked after then maybe it would be a bitbon the expensive side, but it did seem excessive. Id hate to have to pay for a big family. Decent discount for booking in advance so id recommend that.

We haven't been here for years, so decided to book hoping it had changed a bit. We booked online so got a slight discount on our tickets. We got inside with no queuing and got a free map handed to us. Once inside not much had changed at all from all those years ago, some of the fish looked very poorly with bad eyes and bashed up faces. Kids making comments to parents asking why the fish looked like they did and what was wrong with them.It only took us about 45 minutes to walk around and look at everything so making the trip I would suggest booking other attractions on top of this. On a positive note our little girl loved the colours and looking at the fish but for us it wasn't worth the money. I would say spend more and book to go to the blue planet aquarium instead.

Situated on the promenade between Madame Tussauds and the Gruffalo Experience this is the largest Sea Life in the North West of England.A pleasant mix of aquatic life including a number of fish that are native to the British coastal waters. It is worthwhile talking to the staff as they are helpful and knowledgeable and happy to bend your ear about their favourite exhibits. As always the underwater shark experience is the most favoured, but stick around for one of the talks next to the largest viewing window and a good look at the sea turtle.

I would love to give a proper review but sadly our Son has Autism and Dyspraxia and will not climb stairs or use lifts. This place has a lot of stairs to climb right after you buy / present your tickets. The second he heard stairs he was heading for the door.I wish places would add this kind of information to their site but you can't cover everything and even if you tried there would likely always be something missed.
A brilliant experience for the whole family.I took my fiancé and our 7 month old baby girl. It was quite expensive but it was worth every penny because I’ve never seen our baby girl so happy. She was laughing and smiling throughout but took a particular liking to the bubbles in the water and the sharks in the large tank towards the end of the walk. There were many fish, crabs and sharks to see. The walk took over an hour and we had so much fun. The souvenir shop had a selection of cuddly toys, key rings and more, and our baby girl adores the soft pink seahorse toy we purchased for her.I’d definitely recommend a visit and I have every confidence I’ll go again.

Utter rubbish. We walked around the entire thing in about 35 minutes… the staff are nice and the guy who does the turtle talk at the end was good but that’s literally it.Also they don’t accept cash so won’t be returning here ever again.

Spent a great couple of hours here today with grandchildren. Loads of different species of sealife to see and learn about . Kids were happy to be able to stroke starfish, were fascinated by seahorses, lobster, octopus and moray eel, amazed by the sharks and rays and we all loved the green sea turtle . Kyle's talk about the sharks, rays and the turtle was great , he was informative, friendly , enthusiastic and happy to answer all of our questions at the end. Being able to be so close up to some of these sea creatures , swimming beside , above and in front of you through the glass is amazing. Would recommend booking online to save money though and it's a shame there's not a little play area at the cafe instead of the stage , maybe would encourage people to spend in cafe ( looked like sandwiches and drinks at reasonable price) and potentially gift shop

We really enjoyed our trip around sea life.We took our 1 year old, she’s too young to really know what was going on, but it’s a great sensory experience for babies, lots of colours. It’s a perfect place to go on a wet, winter day when you need an indoor activity, that’s not to say you can’t enjoy it all year round.Prices in the cafe and gift shop are expensive, but you kind of expect that nowadays so go prepared with some drinks and snacks.
