We have stayed here previously for short breaks and this time we booked 5 nights for the fantastic entertainment. The location is excellent, near the South Pier and as close to the beach as you can get! There are buses and trams outside the hotel and walking is easy from here as it is on the flat Promenade. Have just returned from our 5 night holiday at the Vicking.Thankyou for a lovely time, as we know the rooms are dated but clean, the reception is good, also the bar overlooking the sea front but why do you close it at 6 o'clock, lack of staff!. I think there should be more seating outside to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a drink, we had to stand up.The meal selection and food quality is good, but by far the entertainment is what makes this hotel great, so many laughs and brilliant...read full review
MY husband and i have just come back from a weekend break at this hotel and once again we could not fault a thing the room the food and the all-inclusive drinks were all fantastic but the entertainment in the hotels own cabaret club was truly superb we have been staying at this hotel two or three times a year for many years and we can honestly say it just keeps getting better BED -BUFFET BREAKFAST -LUNCH AND DINNER FREE BAR AND TOP CABARET ALL FOR AROUND £75 per person per night...read full review
