6 hour drive to absolutely terrible place. The building is beautiful inside but service is ATROCIOUS. Tables are filthy, hardly anything available on the menu no coleslaw no sea bass no MILK FOR MY COFFEE WAS TOLD AFTER ORDER!!!!! one skinny lad too busy running around stinking of sweat and singing or winding up one of the female staff members. The said female seems to be more interested in either doing nothing or being on her mobile phone. We came from Norfolk to see the illuminations but this place put an instant downer on the whole experience. Best of all the male serving us was so rude and incapable of doing an effective job it's unreal. Shocking place no food, no service and no cleanliness that's staff and tables. I'm so so disappointed ? boycott the cherry tree and look somewhere else would have been good price if they had anything available.Atmosphere terrible too many "GEEZERS" Acting like kids and swearing at loud volumes infrastructure of my 9 year old daughter plus as I'm writing this the person serving the waiter split my coffee all over me so now I'm soaked in black coffee WOW. The rude woman who then brought the final bits omg needs to go back to bloody charm school. I don't think iv ever had such a poor experience. Burn marks on my legs from the coffee safe to say I'm livid.*in reply to your reply*First lf all the coffee was not moved it was stood in place and blaming your customers for your managers mistake is extremely poor your MANAGER should have been paying more attention. When I spoke to the duty manager I was informed that the manager who spilt the coffee on me admitted it was because he didn't see it at the time so looks like you have lied somewhere. As stated when I was at the sat talking to the duty manager i was recording the conversation which you stated was OK so your HR will recieve a full copy of the conversation and after this reply you have left so will my claims solicitor 2nd of all I asked for milk and I was told there was no milk and 3rd of all we was given 2x children's choc sundaes and that was it. I have burn marks on my legs which you will see through your HR department shortly.

The Cherry Tree is quite possibly my favourite pub in Blackpool, I can wholeheartedly say that I've never, not once had a bad experience here. The food is exquisite, the service is exemplary and the atmosphere is like your typical pub. But I must say, I do appreciate the incorporation of an adults only section to avoid the noise of children during one's dinner, a brilliant idea and one that should be widely replicated in my view. The menu is one of the best, lots of choice and there's always something I'm terribly eager to sink my teeth into. Well deserving of five stars and I can't wait for next visit.

Came for a family meal with my austistic children and had a fantastic experience overall. No request was too much, all of the staff were polite and understanding. The menu has great variety and all of the food was great. Will definitely be returning. 5*Dietary restrictions: I have 2 children with a sensory diet, the staff even kept the food separate for them.Kid-friendliness: The staff were amazing with my children and they have a play area which my they enjoyed.

Last time I called in they apologized for not having any cask ale, but that (they said) was unusual. Called in again today and still no cask ale. Why don't they just come out with it and say "we have no intention of selling cask ale, so don't bother coming" Plenty of other pubs not too far from here with a good selection. All the Cherry Tree want to stock is lager & cider at pumped up prices. Oh! And microwaved fast food at even higher prices. Not for me.

Tables x3 by the kids play area not cleaned up for the hour and a half they were left empty and the pub wasnt busy. My table wasn't cleaned at all. Disgusting! Note to add the language from parents with kids was fowl. Rough, dirty place.

After many, many visits to this pub I have got to say this is the worst time by far. We ordered 3 meals without it being too busy. The food took 40 minutes to come and when the staff brought it over she just slammed the food down and didn’t say a word after we thanked her. The meal we would normally get, some Of the ingredients had been changed to cheaper alternatives and not as good a quality meal as previously. A friend had ordered a breakfast with requests for removal of certain items which still ended up coming with the meal. He then ordered a side of toast to go with his breakfast which then took another 25 minutes, by which time he had finished his meal. It was delivered by the same person and in the exact same way. 1 of the staff behind the till was very friendly but the other 2 staff that dealt with us was rude and unhelpful. Sorry to say but after the way the staff made us feel today. We will not be back again.

Lovely meals served by Serena ! She was rushed off her feet and seemed to be the only waitress working. Friendly atmosphere, would definitely return ?

We asked to bring simple water, but they forgot about that. The food was nice. We ordered chicken with barbecue source and fries.

I would provide zero stars for service and atmosphere if possible. The only good thing about our visit was the starters were lovely.Myself and family went to cherry tree for a late lunch yesterday. Understandably it was a Saturday so will be busy but the management was awful and staff were arguing in front of customers. In this current climate going out for food is a treat but in comparison to other hungry horse pubs I have eaten in this one was below par. The starters were lovely but that was the only compliment I can provide. We did not feel comfortable to raise a complaint about the main courses due to the clear stress of staff. Main courses were brought out before starters had been finished and drinks brought out after food had been served. The two tills at the bar was clearly not enough either.
