i have frequently visited over the last ten years and have always found the food to be of an excellent quality, with service to match. I would not hesitate to recommend The Furamar to anyone looking for a great chinese meal.

1st time trying furamars food due to the low review rating... Just ordered chips to see if they could impress me and... They did... They were excellent.... Crispy, tasted of potato, underpriced at £1.50!...portion size was outrageous.... served in a good time and by pleasant staff... Just how it should be... So... Next time we go for their Chinese cuisine and see if they can represent...just one thing to say... Chef... Get a blinking haircut and shave... Hygiene and looking the part is paramount... Overall well done

New to the area so as I was late home decided to give this place a try . Normally I check reviews and hygiene rating but this time I didn't , major mistake on my part . Should have known something was wrong when I walked in the door , it was so dark I thought they were shut . Woman took my order and disappeared through the back , I stood waiting for 10 mins and in that time no other customers came in or phoned in orders , bear in mind this is a Friday night. Got my food and took it home . The rice was basically a congealed mass , tasted it and spat it out, the meat was soooo salty as to be inedible, threw the whole lot in the bin . Will never return here and wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemy. If you like Chinese food DON'T go here go elsewhere. How this place is trading I don't know it needs shutting down ASAP.

Just been for a late night chinese. Sorry to say but will not be returning. Most of the food has gone in the bin as it all just tastes of salt cant taste anything other than that.Big mistake not checking reviews and hygiene rating ??

First of all, They have a new hygiene rating of 1 out of 5 which is absolutely appalling and I would always avoid places even if its a 2 or a 3. There's plenty of 5 rated hygiene takeaways in the Normoss area. Plus, the owner looked so disinterested and wasn't welcoming whatsoever even when it was quiet. Food is under average. AVOID AT ALL TIMES!

The Furamer is only take away food but the food they delivered to our house (free delivery) was very good and the best we have had in the area (Tel 01253 391353) for a long time. We started salt & spicy spare ribs, really tasty and lots of meat on them, we also had 1/4 Crispy Aromatic Duck and Sesame prawn toast. For main we shared a checking Corry with chips, the wholee meal was only £21.90p we could not believe the value and quality for that money
The food here is quite good and my wait on this occasion was about 10min. The sweet and sour sauce seems to have rather a lot of red colouring in it, having said that they are very generous with their portions.

Had nice meals in the past, but ordered Thai dry fried spicy chicken tonight, and received a box full of onions with the tiniest scraps of chicken. Very disappointed.

This has to be the worst Chinese I’ve ever had kung po beef the beef was like jelly, Salt and pepper chips were disgustingly greasy with no salt and pepper on, and the salt and pepper ribs had no meat was just all fatI rang up to be told there’s nothing wrong with his food
