Absolute gem of a micropub next to the beach and level crossing at Hest Bank. Ideal for ale fans and train enthusiasts. 6 excellent casks and two craft kegs. Warm and knowledgeable welcome from the staff and the other customers. If you’re in the area a must visit.

Popped into The Crossing after a walk along the coast. Great atmosphere, along with a huge choice of beers. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

This micropub is primarily for fans of real ale, but it's equally attractive to rail enthusiasts too, due to its location next to a level crossing over the West Coast Mainline. Beer and trains suit me! There were several well-kept ales, served with a friendly smile, and clearly enjoyed by the locals.
