27 Main Rd, Bolton-le-Sands, CarnforthAll the staff were friendly and helpful, and all the items ordered to eat by our party of 7 were excellent quality. The menu is varied and interesting, and apparently changes each month. We have eaten before at the Royal, but usually small numbers, I would definitely recommend it for couples or family groups, it was all lovely thankyou!

6 Coastal Rd, Hest Bank, LancasterVisited on a bright Sunday afternoon to try the real ale. Good selection available and beer is priced very reasonably. It's larger inside than it would appear from the outside, with a mix of wooden chairs at tables and taller barstools. There's a handful of seats outside.
Atmosphere was quiet, interrupted by the trains rushing by immediately outside. Dog-friendly with biscuits and water bowl. Parking available on the foreshore through the level crossing.
Worth visiting if real ale is your thing.

26 Slyne Rd, Bolton-le-Sands, CarnforthRicky’s Cantonese has been my go to restaurant for a while it is undoubtedly the best restaurant in the area the food is remarkable and definitely worth the price. The atmosphere is amazing With a lovely giant fish tank filled with exotic fish and just looks excellent, the design and decoration to the restaurant looks perfect and really fits the vibe especially around Christmas time when the tree comes up and the whole place gets decorated! But above all that the workers are the friendliest workers ever, always smiling and keep professional delivering excellent service to every customer. Some people give this restaurant a bad review which I cannot believe, in all my years of dining at Ricky’s I have never once had a bad experience.

Unity Brook Inn, 452-454 Manchester Rd, Kearsley, BoltonWent in for first time last week.. spoke to Manager/Owner nice chap commented there were a lot of Thai people in...Said he rents out the kitchen...went back in last night...Wow... food was lovely Green Thai Curry and Noodles with Crispy Duck pancakes for under £30 and lovely authentic.. Beer not expensive and lovely atmosphere with lots of seating outside in the sunshine too Highly recommended xx a surprise indeed x

2 Hest Bank Ln, Hest Bank, LancasterWell worth seeking out this place if you are ever in Morecambe, a proper old style boozer which has survived the trend of modernisation which most pubs have fallen under. Shirl, the deputy Manager, was welcoming and very friendly and looked after us the whole time we were there for lunch. The menu was extensive and although we both had the same we can see the standard of food was excellent. The steak and ale pie was to die for, proper handmade pie stuffed with meat and the best gravy i have tasted for years. I look forward to my next visit!

The food was served quickly, portions plentiful (we had to take some home) and absolutely delicious! Dining out with children can sometimes be a little tricky but we felt so welcome and the staff were brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed and fantastic hospitality ?

Kearsley Mt Precinct, Manchester Rd, Kearsley, BoltonI had the number 3 on the lunch menu offer, added chips and grabbed a large sausage to eat while I waited.
Firstly the sausage was freshly cooked and piping hot, I have to say it was probably the best sausage I have ever had from any chippy ever...(maybe because it had just been cooked).
The lunch meal is great value for money, myself and my wife split it and it's more than enough for us (especially as we added an extra portion of chips).
The staff are always friendly too, can't really fault them, or the value for money.
