Overpriced for poor quality food.Driest cake I've ever had, basic sandwiches that are overpriced and the meat is grey, the caramel latte was tasteless and I'm not even sure they put any in, and very slow service.

Was looking forward to a piece of cake, until I had seen the employee touch the cake with his fingers. And let me tell you, his fingers and nails looked dirty and grimy. Not impressed ?

Where do I start. Just about everything was wrong. Pasty with peas and gravy looked like it was becalmed in a sea of sludge, the salad was on the turn with no dressing, the potato looked like it had been baked sometime in the previous week and was Luke warm the staff looked bored to death and the prices were ridiculous. I asked for a plate of salad rather than the half baked potato, and the half baked member of staff said ''We don't do salads'' I asked her why she was standing in front of a salad bar then, and was informed that the salad was for baked potato's. I'm sure you've got the idea ,by now. Don't set foot in the place, try going to Pendle Village instead.Wheelchair accessibility: Impossible to drive a mobility scooter round the tables.

Not a lot of breakfast options, I asked for a sausage sandwich which hadn't came & I asked the staff which knew it wasn't on the order but didn't come over & tell me that. My boyfriend is coeliac too he could have sandwiches made but there wasn't any bacon left not very much variety

Just been in this morning for the breakfast offer. And I'm writing this review to say how lovely your staff that were on this morning were. The lady in the till greeting us with a lovely smile and cheery hello and was just so nice. There was a younger girl who took our breakfast order who was also nice and a lad that bought our breakfast out and a lady clearing tables everyone of the staff we encountered in the cafe were just so friendly.Well done cafe staff .

The location of this café is on the 1st floor or for our American friends on the 2nd floor, which overlooks the wonderful Lancashire countryside café has lots of seating, but if it's very busy one of your party needs to find a table first as this café is self-service the food and drink is very nice so after a little shopping go and fill your face

Fit for purpose. Clean, nice and light environment. Light snacks available. Could be more gluten-free and vegan options, especially in relation to cakes and the stock access ability of the place. Nothing to write home about but then again I am not the target market - I can imagine my Grandma would love it!

Their carrot and coriander soup was amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit.

We called for a morning coffee and cake yesterday whilst shopping at Boundary Mill. There is a decent choice of cakes, sandwiches and other food items. However, our coffee tasted diabolical. A coffee shop which sells tasteless weak coffee and apparently many other peoples opinion also. Do appreciate this is not Costa Coffee or Cafe Nero, but surely you can provide a decent barista in what is essentially classified as a ‘Coffee Shop’? Coffee at £3.50 a cup - totally unacceptable.

Stopped at Boundary Mill for a quick look around and decided to have a little bit of lunch, very busy, queuing to get seated, very unorganized, went to get some food, no soup left or pies, salad but only lettuce and cucumber, sandwiches looked miserable and overpriced, staff looked scruffy to say it was a eating establishment, just has a cup of tea! As I was leaving a member of staff came out of the kitchen with clean cutlery and dropped some on the floor, she picked them up and I watched as she put them in the clean cutlery tray at the tills, disgusting, then went to serve food, no hands washed, won't be going again

Coffee awful, glass had lipstick all round rim, didn’t taste tuna panini as our server brought it to the table with his long dirty thumbnail on it. Vile place.

Very expensive for what we had… made worse by the lack of pricing so you get your surprise at the till

Rather bland and on the expensive side for a self serv cafe. Very few items priced and signage generally confusing. Couple in front of us queued for about 25 minutes to reach the salad bar only to be told they don’t serve salad !! You have to buy a baked potato before they serve you salad … madness when the overhead signs read ‘salad’ One coffee, two cans of pop, one baked potato with cheese and a bit of salad plus a small steak pie was £24 … not good value
