81 Burnley Rd, Padiham, BurnleyWe arrived in Padiham early evening after a very long drive, and just wanted somewhere to sit and eat, we could not have chosen a better place. The menu had plenty of choice we had starters and a main course both we would highly recommend.
The service was very attentive without being too much, and would also add very good taste in music !
Never been here before, we will be coming back, cannot recommed N0 81 enough.
Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from,
Parking: Plenty of free parking spaces off the main road left and right side, just look for the free parking signs

Cocktails were great and desserts were delicious. Only negative point was sometimes the music was too explicit when dining with children. I think if you have a children’s menu this should be considered.

I went to Hapton for an enduro experience day and kind enough to let me stop over in my VW camper in their car park for 2 nights. The pub itself is lovely. Got very busy both nights but not surprising as the food is lush. I enjoyed one of the best roast lambs I've ever had. Staff are really friendly, and the Locals too. If you walk up the right side of the pub there are the most spectacular views! It's not far from Accrington, Burnley, and Rossendale valley, all lovely areas. Lots to do.

154 St James's St, BurnleyI've been going here for 20 years off and on. Always late night, either after work or post drinking and clubbing.
My go to "dish" is the Chicken Tikka wrap sandwich. This is a full sized naan bread, folded like a tortilla wrap, around chunks of chicken breast meat that have been marinated and cooked in a spicy, dark red chicken tikka sauce. Available with or without salad, and with a range of sauces - including; tomato, mint, garlic, and chilli [be warned the chilli packs a punch!]. Served wrapped in a paper parcel.
The in house entertainment is provided by your fellow customers. Invariably at least one other in the queue will have been on the lash, and prepared to offer their own commentary on the world at large. No detriment to Sumbul's, the food is good and tasty, and the counter banter is a part of the ambience.
Recently I tried delivery, courtesy of Just Eat, and wasn't disappointed. Thank you Sumbul's, you have an assured - if these days irregular - customer for years to come so long as the children tikka wrap sandwich stays on the menu.
Parking: Very limited street parking outside, best to assume there will be none given that there is considerable competition from taxis and food delivery drivers. Possible parking on nearby Cow Lane or Bethesda Street.
Safe to say that the majority of Sumbul's customers will not be availing themselves of nearby parking for their own motorised conveyance since Sumbul's target demographic appear to be post-lash, night out survivors, grabbing a late night bite to eat, before heading home by taxi or drunken stumble.

As age has taken it's toll on my hearing I find I cannot tell what people are saying in noisy places.
Tea time on a Friday is one such, even when I have my hearing aids set for voice in noise I can't easily cope.
Sad really.
Acoustic tiles on the ceiling would help fix it...and with no smoking would not need cleaning so much.
But it is still a great pup.

Everything was delicious, lovely Phad Thai, tasty Panang, the satay sauce with the chicken starter was spot on as we're the rest (Thai crackers, veg spring rolls, fried rice, Thai pineapple curry). If they opened Mon & Tues it would be perfect.Parking: Decent sized right outside plus there's parking available on roadWheelchair accessibility: All level throughout & the toilet is a very large room allowing wheelchair users & an aid (if you need one) to move around with ease.

Lowerhouse La, Lowerhouse Ln, BurnleyTook my daughter to a classmate's party - she loved it. The soft play area was great and goes all the way up to the top of the ceiling. There was plenty for the kids to play on with other standalone toys dotted around.Excellent toilet facilities perfect for kids of all ages with both potty and childs size toilet available. I sat down at a table whilst my daughter played and had a coffee, the service was very good, coffee really nice and also fairly priced. Recommended.Parking: It's round the back and didn't realise there was one so parked nearby on the main road.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with large safety barrier as you enter the soft play area. There were also boys and girls toilets with potty and child size toilet which are ideal for reassuring your child.

Food was fresh and looked as good as it tasted no excess fat/oil. shop was really clean, staff were polite and friendly and plenty of seating while you wait! portions were great..fed 3 of us with spare food
we had chips..egg fried rice..salt n pepper wings x8..sweet n sour chicken balls x10..prawn crackers ..curry sauce! I will usually just pick at bits..but I ate everything on my plate and definitely my go to for Chinese from now on, looking forward to trying other dishes thanks Tom + family

Bellissimo Italian Burnley

Lovely little Italian restaurant - very good service and friendly too. They have an extensive menu and what we had was extremely tasty with good sized portions. The tomato garlic bread we had to start with was so good it was to die for! Lots more on the menu I want to try.
The wine was excellent too and good quality. The coffee is sooooo tasty.
We will be back.

Good choice of food and happy to see they're still doing mini-mix trays for those of us that don't want a big meal, food was definitely the best I have had in a long time and curry sauce was seriously good! anyway this is my go to chippy from now on, also happy they do steak puddings with no kidney ?5*

A proper home football pub, we had a great time with the local fans. Decent beer and great bar staff. We purchased our food from a Street van outside,which we were allowed to bring into the pub. I would say from experience
,one or two away fans with no colours would be welcome but not a massive group.

The menu is varied and without exception is always of an excellent standard; the staff are so friendly, helpful and super efficient. 1 Smith St, Worsthorne, BurnleyThe Crooked Billet is just a staple of Worsthorne. It's a lovely classic pub with an amazing atmosphere and lovely people. The staff are attentive and lovely too. It is a great place to watch Burnley play if you're needing a place to watch it live on TV.

The New Brew’m Pub
11 St James's Row, BurnleyBarman was lovely, nice little selection of beers, ciders and spirits, lovely interior both upstairs and downstairs, very clean. Only ich is that as me and 4 of my friends walked in as we were going for a meal next door and wanted a drink and some darts first, all of the old men in the pub just stopped talking and looked at us, which is just very odd and very "why are women in a workings club" vibes (even thought its just a bar in the town)

Mill Green, ColneA quirky pub with a cool vibe. Open mic night every Tuesday which is quite popular and gets busy. Friendly locals and staff and a good choice of beers.. could do with more regular live music on at weekends.

Food come the garlic bread was delicious the steak on the stone was a treat and there was so much flavour to it will definitely be coming back

10 Grimshaw St, BurnleyGreat stylish building, friendly staff, if a little disorganized, good food. The high ceilings worked against as it got busier and it became very noisy, but overall we enjoyed our meal.

2 Church St, Padiham, BurnleyIt was a birthday celebration and we opted for the special menu available. Cannot fault it, the food was absolutely excellent and plenty of it for both starters and mains. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and good service. Well done.

31-39 Manchester Rd, BurnleyWe took the kids eat for £1 offer that was on during the summer holidays. We had 2full price meals and we got 2 kids meals for &1 each which were thoroughly enjoyed. Cocktails were great and desserts were delicious. Only negative point was sometimes the music was too explicit when dining with children. I think if you have a children’s menu this should be considered.

1-3 St James's St, BurnleyYou will NOT find a kebab as good as this for miles and miles. The quality is amazing and the breads man! Really really tasty. The guys that work there are polite and friendly. Prices are decent. To think it's next to McDonald's, you'd spend the same amount but get a far superior meal. I absolutely love this place and I tell everyone about it. I think they should give me a salva cap lol

Unit 2, Pioneer Place, Curzon St, BurnleyVisited for the first time with friends with complex allergies. My Friends were almost apologetic with their requirements. The Waiting Staff were Excellent, nothing was too much trouble! Thank you once again. Will be returning ??
