The frozen food section is great, and I'm starting to prefer Farmfoods over Iceland. They also have a good selection of drinks.

The store has been refurbished since last time I went in. Great for bulk buying in you have the freezer space.

Got a good selection of frozen food and a half decent selection of groceries, to be fair, there were some good bargains to be had, but I guess it's just like anywhere else, go in knowing what you want and what price it should be/you usually pay, then only buy what you went in for our is the price you expect.

Variety of foods. Pastry, dairy products, dry ingredients, hygiene products and ready-made frozen foods.

Verry refreshing after the miserable attitude of Asda staff and the same at Tesco we called on the way home and the staff there were verry cheerful and helpful. Great thanks

Farmfoods is a difficult place to describe to someone who's never been. Please, see it for yourself. Even if it's only 50p's worth of bananas, or a novelty oven shelf sized rectangular pizza, you will find something they can tempt you to part with your hard earned cash for and there's the pure entertainment value of working out which of their overcomplicated special offers you have thrown randomly into your trolley as you wind from aisle to aisle. Most things are 2 for something or 3, maybe 4 or 5 for something, and that something could be £5, £10, £11, £12, £15, even £20 or £50 depending on how the economy goes and when you're reading this. Seemingly disparate items from vegetables to things in breadcrumbs, batter or pastry to jumbo sized cleaning products all lumped under a single offer. If it declares "ten for tuppence" on the shelf you can mix and match all you want. But watch you don't end up with one two for and two three fors, or they'll do you for full price on the lot. I suspect that that's how Messrs Farm and Food have found their fortuneLike I say it's a strange and wondrous place, filled with rows upon rows of freezers, like Iceland in the mid 1980s but not as fancy and upmarket, but then also stacks of pallettes like you might find in Costco, but without the variety or the membership fee.Heaped up in rickety Jenga towers atop the rows of frozen delights they keep varieties of canned goods you might struggle to find elsewhere outside of your Nan's pantry, boxes of dry goods emblazoned with tartan, off-brand biscuits and big bottles of glow-in-the-dark pop.I am not sponsored in any way by Mr Farm or indeed his colleague Mr Food but I implore you to visit one of their fine establishments at the first available opportunity.

Prices used to be good now more expensive than asda and tesco

This place has recently been completely renovated and rejuvenated inside. So much more choice, and so much easier to browse. The food tastes good for a good price. In the current financial climate, we need this choice. It’s so easy to be limited to supermarket choices in their limited frozen section, but really…even if you only stock up monthly, Farmfoods is worth the trip.

The new (ish) Farmfoods 'Superstore' is bigger than the old normal sized FF... However, it is far from better. Discontinued popular items, Very little in the way of bargains. Unless you're buying bulk/supersized items or snapping up soon-to-be discontinued items, then good old Farmfoods is a real waste of a journey and a terrible disappointment. It appeared to be awash with very miserable and/or angry looking/sounding customers. It's handy cos it's local but there's nowt there now that I can see that made the expansion and facelift work, carried out, allegedly to provide us with a bigger selection of products with ever low prices (an aim that WAS a key area of FF and hugely helpful in its popularity, especially with those groups living on the breadline) worthwhile in any way. The least best Farmfoods shopping experience yet.. BTW, BRING BACK YOUR BUBBLEGUM ICECREAM!! What are you playing at, Farmfoods... and reintroduce 'Millions' sweets.. in every flavour... Very disappointed! If bulk buying, yeah, drag yourself down there, otherwise, they have nothing worth the trip, in either quality or bargains.. rant over! ?✌️
