Best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Always consistent, fish freshly cooked. Spot on, I love it.

Fabulous food. We usually have fish and chips but pies and sausages are good too. It's all fresh. Friendly service too.

If you've tried the rest like me then try THE BEST. Visited yesterday tea time for the 1st time and all I can say is delicious. Fish very tasty and chips were scrummy. Yes maybe a little dearer than some but you pay for what you get. I live in Nelson and this is going to be my local chippy from on. Thank you ladies 10/10

3.45 for the smallest portion of chips you have ever seen. They said they use the finest potatoes, well they weren't that good. Welcome to rip off Britain won't ever go back disgraceful.

Worth a visit. Would go again

The food it's self wasn't to bad (sausage chips &curry) but my god for £5:50 I was expecting more food than the pitiful amount I received' half of the tray was empty. I know things have gone up but this is the smallest portion of chippy food I've ever seen.. they'll not be seeing me again.

Walked in to be greated by two members of staff, the younger one of the two was great, really polite and amenable. In the modern worlf there isnt many estblishments that dont take card, but i also understand why for costs. There was sign on the counter CASH ONLY, when trying to make light heart conversation whilst waiting for my order, i commented we live in a cashless society, to be spoken back to in a harsh manner, by the older server " he wont except cards it to expensive" and agreeing yes it does drive on cost i expected the food to be great, quite the opposite, mushpeas that was just mush and water without peas and fish that was black. I certainly dont wish to spend £24.50 on a three meals, to be spoken to in a poor manner and receive substandard food, the majority went in the trash. NEVER VISITING AGAIN. Its okay not to take card transactions, because it costly, but also dont be greedy in keeping the profits serving cheap food.
