Went with husband for Christmas afternoon tea. Food was fabulous and staff were lovely and friendly . Can highly recommend this lovely little gem of a cafe. Will definitely be back

Fantastic Christmas lunch again this year, enhanced by Primet Primary school choir coming and singing carols. Excellent atmosphere and service, everyone was smiling. Enjoyed the quiz even though we did win the booby prize ! We always enjoy the food and service here all year round.

Came here early Sunday morning with my dog, for a cooked breakfast and coffee. Very friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast and a great way to start a Sunday morning. Had a walk round the beautiful park afterwards. Sunny frosty autumnal day, was perfect.

I was hoping to have a lovely spot of tea and dessert when walking through alkincoats, as three teenagers came up to me smoking a elf bar between them, they said “yo granny, are you on some serious scranness, i said cmon uno in return. they gave their blessings and ran off chanting badness in unison. 5*.

Excellent food, friendly staff and fabulous views over the bowling green. Lovely home made cakes. Doesn't seat many inside but plenty of seats and tables outside. Probably useful as a cafe stop for cyclists as its on a NCN route and 10 minutes bike ride or 20 minutes walk off the canal through the park. Will be going back.
