Joseph and Michelle were both friendly and professional throughout our visit, as well as being accommodating and efficient. The food was served quickly and was hot and tasty. No complaints other than slightly sticky menus, but that's excusable being in the child friendly section after rush hour. Overall we enjoyed our meal and will be back in the future.Vegetarian options: Nice vegan burger and plenty of veggie options

Been here a few times on and off and generally is quite nice and good service. Bar staff are quite friendly generally, one of the meet and greet staff seemed put out to be asked questions and help us and told me to ask someone else for a gluten free menu. Service is generally fast though on occasion food has taken an hour and once never showed up. The atmosphere is quite good and the prices are reasonable. But it's a bit like what forest gump says you never know what your gonna get. The carvery is the best bit of it in terms of quality of food.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu but everything comes with a jacket potato insteadKid-friendliness: Very child friendly with sections dedicated to families however some families see it as free childcare and let their kids run havoc.

Been here before and I love the tasty pub grub. Came last night as a last minute birthday plan. We were greeted with a warm welcome and promptly shown to our table. It was a nice quiet evening and for a party of 7, ordering food and drinks is usually pretty stressful but we breezed through it and we were all able to get the meals we wished for. The carvery was a massive hit for my dad, so that’s always a bonus! Big thanks to Joseph and Michelle for their professionalism.. nothing was too big of an ask and they were happy to oblige with all of our requests.. even fixing up the cake my sister brought in because it got a bit scrambled on the journey here. Thank you!

Went today with family, 8 of us and a 2 year old, the little one had a great time playing in the kids area. Everyone chose to opt for the carvery, was really good and filling. Our table were served by Michele who was absolutely brilliant ? she really went the extra mile and made our meal very enjoyable ?

Me and my friend came to Sycamore Farm today for a carvery, on arrival we was greeted by a lovely lady called Michelle, we was a hour too early for the carvery. So we found a comfy corner and ordered drinks.Whilst we waited for our food Michelle came over numerous of times and asked if everything was ok and to update on when carvery was going to be ready. And of course for a friendly chit chat. What a lovely hostess! We had to wait for the carvery as it’s just the best!It was amazing!Sycamore farm is our favourite place to eat and we will definitely be back sometime soon.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of open space for wheel chair access

Been today and had an amazing experience. Michelle and Joesph went above and beyond to make our time special. I unfortunately witnessed them being abused by a couple of men but how they handled it was brilliant. Remained professional throughout. Well done! Ps the cake was delicious

Came from rawtenstall. Absolutely amazing food and the service was 10/10. Michelle was lovely and asked if our food was okay and if we were happy. Would definitely be coming back and recommend.

Good food at a good price- mostly the staff were ok but one woman (older than most of the staff) just ignored us when we went to the bar to order and pay for our food and drink

Used to be regular customers until moving from the area a few years ago and never had a bad experience, so when a relative was visiting from the USA we decided to make the drive and have dinner at Sycamore Farm. To be honest I was embarrassed!!!! I’d booked a table for 4 a few days in advance , on arrival we were told the people at our table were still finishing their drinks and we would have to wait. I wouldn’t normally mind waiting but the restaurant was very busy and no seats as two of our party were elderly …one aged 76 on crutches and another aged 85 with a walking stick I said we wouldn’t be able to stand for long. After a few mins the girl showed us to a table. We were shown to the tiniest round table I’ve ever seen (number 62) in the centre of the room, there was nowhere to put the crutches and walking sticks as they would be in the way of other people so we balanced them across our knees. Realising this table was not ideal we looked around and there was a few empty reserved much larger more suitable tables for 4 around the edges of the room . My partner asked if they could possibly switch our table with one of those as it was still a table for four and the other people who had reserved the tables had not yet arrived, we were just told No ! We decided to order and make the best of it , two of our party ordered pies (cheese onion potato and a beef and ale) with mash and veg, the two others in our group ordered steak and the mixed grill. When the pies came they were mostly inedible , all we could eat was the filling as the pastry crust was so hard you could crack coconuts with it, the mashed potatoes had a strange fibrous quality to them , neither of us ate much of the food on the plate. We were intending to order a sweet but after the mains being so bad we didn’t bother. The restaurant itself was intensely hot and the music was so loud we had to shout to each other across our table even though it was tiny. We had enough and wanted to leave asap, had we not wanted to leave so quickly I would have complained there and then but our two elderly guests by this point were so fed up and uncomfortable we just left. Won’t be making a point of returning anytime soon. This is my first negative review of Sycamore Farm since I started visiting when it originally opened .
