Awesomely traditional community pub, with superbly kept real ales and welcoming wood fires. The hospitality team could not be friendlier! We live a good 15 miles away... But it really is worth the effort for a chilled afternoon session. Highly commended in my book!

First time visiting this pub. We are new to the area and thought it was time to get out in the community. We were greeted at the bar by two lovely friendly bar staff who immediately introduced us to the owner Mark, which made us feel welcome from the start. It is a traditional style pub with fire places in the rooms giving it a cosy feel. They also have two outdoor seating areas that I'm sure are a great asset on warm sunny days or winter days with patio heaters as mentioned during our visit.A final shout out to the bar staff Millie and Charlotte, who were a delight. We will definitely be back.

Drove over from Lancaster for the Reggae At The Rodney do.Everyone I met was lovely and friendly.Fantastic, hard working, and attentive bar staff, great stout and various reasonably priced ales.Perfect Jamaican food on the fire outside, excellent dumplings.Fine sounding sound system back a yard with great selectors on rotation playing dub, ska, and bouncing reggae.Very family and dog friendly with a welcoming vibe.Topped with beaming sunshine all day long.Jah light shine.

Good beer selections and friendly folk. Nice outdoor spot with plenty of walks available before (or after) having a few pints.

Easily the best pub in Colne, good beer, the best people. Not an ounce of nonsense and they pretty much always have Mary Jane and at a 3.5 abv, your set for the whole night.
