We booked for the Sunday 3 course meal today for 8 of us. We pre-ordered our meals with the menu being sent to us week before. The food, service and atmosphere was great and we enjoyed the late afternoon. Definitely will be returning and would recommend (the 1980s music it for us ha!)

We booked for Christmas Day meal for 7 family members.The staff were welcoming, friendly, polite and helpful.We were taken to our table on time.The food was delicious and exactly what we had pre-ordered.The atmosphere was festive and the waiting-on staff were unobtrusive but attentive.We all agreed it was an excellent meal and festive atmosphere.Parking spaces were available opposite the restaurant.The price for Christmas Day menu was very competitive.The restaurant was larger than it looked from the outside, with plenty of room inside.Cosy bar area on entering.

A really lovely traditional English restaurant. A rare thing these days! Real food done right. I had Steak, duck breast for my wife, cooked to perfection with delicious fresh vegetables. Highly recommended.

Nice meal 3 courses for 20 quid ish, came in a large party of around 30 people and the food came nice and hot and the standards were not compromised like they are in many other restaurants when in such a large group, definitely
