Booked a table which was ready for us when we arrived. We received a warm welcome from the staff behind the bar and again when we ordered our food and drinks.\\nMy husband had the carvery which looked to be very popular with other diners. I had scampi, salad, chips and peas. We both enjoyed our meals which was served hot \\u0026 plentiful.\\nWe ll definitely go again.

Kitchen had closed when I arrived at 7.15 on Tuesday 24th October. Had a very good meal there when I was last in Burnley a year ago. I have never experienced a pub not offering food so early in the evening. Website said food available until 8 which is why I travelled a fair distance to get there. Managed to find a very good alternative: New Waggoners on the Manchester Road which serves food 7 days a week until 9 o''clock.

Popped in here on Sunday.Inside was quite quiet as everyone was in the beer garden enjoying the sun.We were able to find a table easily and ordered food.We had been informed there was up to a 30-45 minute wait for food but I have to say it came well before then.We all chose a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint at all.Very tasty. They had 80music playing in the background which made the whole visit much more enjoyable. Totally love 80s music and always have it on in my car!Definitely will be returning. Highly recommend.

Came for a drink and sat in the beer garden. Was nice to sit in the garden with the nice views on a summer's evening however I ordered a non-alcoholic drink and a Madri Shandy which came to £11. I think those prices were extortionate especially when the shandy was mainly lemonade. Would definitely come here more often if the pricing for drinks were more competitive and affordable.

Attended for the sunday roast. Chose the turkey as it was stated as coming with a plum stuffing. Food arrived, when I enquired about the missing stuffing I was informed they has run out. Should really have been told of this at the point of ordering. The mash was from a packet. For the prices here, would expect better.

We visited the Ram today for lunch . We had such a poor experience the last time but thought we would give it another chance. The service was poor , very slow . The food was poor also , the steak on the sandwich was tough and the fish sandwich, well just say we played spot the fish . The only good thing was the chips !! My glass had lipstick marks on the rim , not acceptable. Bring back Andy !!

We took the wrong road and ended up here and we're so glad we did. The pub was very traditional inside but outside was the real star. It was a really sunny day and the views from the beer garden were amazing. Food was great and plenty of choice for the kids. Would highly recommend. I bet the inside of the pub has some real atmosphere in the winter when the fires are burning.

A rare bit of sunshine meant we headed out to the country and found this gem. Magnificent views of the Lancashire countryside, lovely food and great Cask ales made for a superb afternoon.

Under new management since March. Service and food were excellent. Nice atmosphere, good outside seating with great views and its an excellent starter or end location for country walks. A friendly landlord and the Lunch menu is really good value. Thanks for a lovely afternoon we will be back.

First visit & took our friends who were staying with us along. So happy we decided to have dinner here! Needed a dog friendly place so that helped us chose the place. Two starters four mains two puddings & 3 soft drinks plus one glass of wine. Overall a well deserved 5 out of 5. Will defo go back. The food was delicious ? piping hot & my only negative point...there was chives sprinkled on top of my Hunters Chicken! It's not mentioned on the menu so will ask next time will ask for no chives!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to park near entrance. Plenty of room for my mobility scooter. Outside seating available with amazing views.

Visited ram inn for lunch. Service was good but food wasn’t the best. Had Philly cheesesteak, came on normal whit bread and no cheese. Steak was chewy. Wife had hunters chicken. Chips weren’t cooked and the chicken didn’t taste the best. Won’t be going again.

Passing often, we thought it apt to try out. It is often busy on a nice day which admittedly was part of the initial draw.It was a slow evening and me and my partner sat in a quiet corner. The building is interesting historically and outdoor space great. Food and drink is ordered at the bar and paid on order. Price was expected and front of house were friendly. Plenty of tables available which is great and bar choice good.Kitchen staff unfortunately were loud and couldn't control their language. This clearly needs attention. Paying customers shouldn't have to hear staff swearing in the back. Food was low quality. Starters were not enjoyable, garnishes looked tired and bruschetta was soggy. Mains were unremarkable. We certainly didn't clear our plates and left feeling disappointed with the quality of and lack of attention to the food.
