Friendly staff, lovely food, open fire, nice and cosy just what you need on a cold day.Dietary restrictions: My daughter in law is vegan and when I booked there was no vegan on the menu but when we arrived the chef gave her a choice of risotto or burger, she chose the risotto and said it was delicious.

The new owners of The Stork are so welcoming, with a genuine and cheerful smile. The food was amazing. SFC burger - real chicken and flavoured "just so", with crisp salad.However the crown goes to the gravy (served with the trio of sausages and creamy mash). We were told that people travel for miles just for the gravy, and it's easy to see why. Try it for yourself and you will die and go to heaven ?.This place deserves 6 stars.

Six people, we had afternoon meals, quiche, BTL, soup, all had a dessert. Excellent service everyone agreed that the food was very good and reasonable prices, would recommend the Stork Hotel, they also have a good choice of drinks.

I have been coming to the Stork for many years as it is my local Pub. I have to say after the village lost its long standing landlady I did not hold out much hope for this little pub. A caretaker landlord was brought in and, lets just say things went downhill very fast and the pub finally closed. The pub is now back open with such a fantastic and enthusiastic team of local people in charge. As soon as you walk in your greeted by smiles from the staff. The pub is extremely friendly and has a nice mix of locals as well as visitors to the area. It truly is an environment where everyone is warmly welcomed. The food though!!! Oh my, it's a cut above!! The new chef has brought his passion, enthusiasm and skills into the kitchen and truly cooks up some delights! I have found pricing to be very reasonable. The menu is being constantly rotated with some fantastic specials added on a regular basis. The standard of cooking though is just so superior compared to similar venues in the area!! (well done Chef)! For those that just want a few beers and a little food to nibble at their is also a bar snack menu. Occasionally they will have entertainment on in the evening. I highly recommend!

First time here popped in for lunch, food service not the quickest but worth waiting for with big portions and nice tasting food, the staff and locals very friendly and welcoming would highly recommend
