Great old pub with history. Staff were great and friendly. Lovely to be in an ordinary local pub.

Bit dingy, and noticeably rougher than the other pubs in the area

A good little pub. Gets busy on a weekend also plenty of history in this pub was the old jail for Burnley and the toilets were the old cells and it was also a coaching house where horses n coaches where kept and drove between burnley and Skipton

If your looking for an experience this is the place for you. Called in for a couple of pints not knowing anyone. I was called over to a table, of... people who loved ( needed ) a drink. Absolutely great craic! An eye opener some may say ? as crazy as they was, they was lovely at heart. Got some nice pics to take back to Australia with me xxx

Proper pub. Sports on, loud music, cheap drinks. Perfect

Fantastic pub. Great beer garden. Staff are very friendly Indeed. Shift cafe upstairs is great fun for karaoke. Locals are great people. The thing that let's the place down is the bouncers. Bullying random customers. The video of them online punching an older customer unprovoked was particularly disturbing. With customers nicknaming them Bully boy Billy and his bald sidekick its hard to understand why they are not replaced.

Love the set upstairs in here where anyone can pick up and instrument or a microphone and have a go. Lovely staff too. It was a bit dominated by wannabe gallagher brothers when i went in on a saturday night, but it can be very different apparently. If they had a better choice of food up there Id give it 5 stars.
