John Adam is the best bar keeper in the world! Very friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. Come to the Thornton for a beer!
Booked a room for a party and paid a lot of money for it, and a buffet. Very disappointed with 2 small tables which was supposed to cater for 50 people. Probably cost bout £50 to do, as regards as it costing us £275 for it!!

Beer too expensive but the car park is sizeable while the football screens are it's best feature. Almost hipster, just lacking WiFi and plug sockets for the traveller who needs to mainline into the matrix that is the internet...
