Extremely limited vegetarian options for an Italian place (eg the only non-meat pizza is a margarita) and service was very slow. I see that as a plus but would be annoying if you had places to be. Staff were nice and it has a good vibe, and prices are good.

Fillet steak was very strange texture and tough. Mestballs tasteless and pasta over spiced. Very disappointing. Won’t be returning.

Top place to dine, authentic Italian food , laid back atmosphere. We've been here a few times now , enjoyed each visit.I recommend the costolette di maiale , that's Pork ribs in a barbecue sauce.

Really lovely restaurant, great food. lovely welcome and atmosphere. plenty of customers arrived after us and it was obvious this is a popular place with regular locals visiting.

Been to this restaurant on several occasions but not for a few years. Greeted by friendly waitress and taken to our table. First drinks arrived promptly, food was fairly good (sea bass fillets) Unfortunately it went down hill from there. It was busy and only 2 servers on shift therefore, service was slow and second drinks took 20 minutes to arrive from ordering. During our meal the waiter arrived whilst we were mid eating using hand gestures moving our table to accommodate an additional table without actually asking us, saying thank you as he was moving it and I was actually eating from my plate. The customers sat next to us actually looked shocked as the waiter did this. The table and chairs were so close to us that the customers back was literally touching our table. It was unpleasant and uncomfortable to say the least. The waiter came back to us after 20 minutes asking if we were ok, my husband pointed out that we weren’t happy due to this additional table being placed so close to us, he replied sorry and walked away. In my 40 plus years of dining out I have never, ever had a waiter move my table as I was eating. I cannot believe we actually let this happen and continued eating despite this rude behaviour. Verona, you overcrowded your eating area without a thought for you customers, shame on you!

HIDDEN GEM!We happened to stumble by the restaurant whilst waiting for our train. There was a lunch time menu displayed outside so we thought we'd give it a go and we were not disappointed! The interior was very warm and welcoming, there were lovely features on the walls. We were seated on the quieter side of the restaurant so we had room for our little girls pram. The gent who waited on us was very friendly and I loved that he was speaking Italian from time to time.We got food from the lunch time menu offer. I always get minestrone soup when I go to Italian restaurants so I was over the moon when they had it as an option. I would say it is the best minestrone I have had at any restaurant and I've been to quite a lot all over the world. Our food was beautiful, well presented and there was plenty of it.We didn't realise when we came in it was close to closing time and the poor owner had to wait around for us, we only found out as we were leaving and he closed up after us. We both felt awful for having him wait, we'd have ate quicker had we known. That being said, he didn't rush us or pressure us at all. Lovely man.We will 100% be back, our new favourite Italian :)Kid-friendliness: The gent who served us was lovely with our little girl, talking to her, waving and smiling. She loved the attention.

A great night ...lovely food . one waiter ( white braces) was really attentive and pleasant . The other was surly and rude ..banged the plates and the bill on the table . Needs to learn some manners.

More recent visit: My partner and I visited Verona midweek and had a wonderful time. We were both spoiled for choice with all the amazing sounding dishes on the menu. The man who owns the restaurant is very friendly with a great sense of humour. It was a nice touch when he came over to take our order. There aren't many tables so I'd recommend booking in advance as it always seems busy, and I can see why!Took my mother for Mother's Day. Phoned up on the day and they were able to fit us in at prime time immediately.Food was served quickly and tasted great for a very reasonable price. Would definitely go again.

This is an overall good restaurant. The focaccia is an absolute must, delicious. The veal was also good. Easy to find, friendly staff and a good price.
