Lovely couple of hours in the shovel. Last time I was up this way the pub was closed and under renovation. The new landlady is a fantastic host and very friendly as were the locals that were already in when I arrived.I was made to feel like a local. Defo be back. Thank you.?
Good local pub. Good beer. Good prices. Has Sky Sports.Friendly staff. Been recently renovated and it is a huge improvement on what it was before the lock down closure in 2020. Give it a try if you haven't been for a while.
