The room was lovely. Shower a bit small in the en suite but otherwise tip top. I was worried about being over a pub but needn’t have been. Good night’s sleep and no trouble at all. Hospitality ok. A bit stilted and not overly welcoming on arrival and service at breakfast was a bit high and mighty but still decent enough. Warm friendly pub, with a good selection of ales and wine. The food was superb can’t fault the other than the Lemon cheese cake took an hammering, I was too late ? lol.The only negative was not too bad. It’s a dog friendly pub seems all the locals are dog lovers ?. All the dogs were well behaved ?

Fabulous old coach house pub smack in the village. Beautiful and clean inside, very traditional with a good arrange of drinks. The food is top end at a reasonable price. This place is the best out of the three pubs in the area. A must visit.... and return.
