A good traditional pub with great food and the beer is very nice. The bar staff are lovely and the food is good for a pub. Enough televisions in the pub for everyone to enjoy.

Me and the family came yesterday for a booked Christmas party. As we arrived the staff came over and sat us on a very well decorated table. All the people on the table were very impressed with the standard of the Christmas dinners - we didn’t expect it all to come up fresh. Thanks again to all the elephant and castle staff we will defiantly be back next year.
I took my booking secretary for a meal and it was super - Lea Anne had great vodka cocktails and I had mulled wine -Great fish and chips, staff great as well -Lovely place

Brilliant pub in the town centre. More of a local to me. Huge variety of drinks including locally brewed ales. Good food with a recently updated menu. The staff are amazing which makes it more of an enjoyable place to go. I will always recommend it.

Pub not highly rated in the restaurant category so wasn’t aware of this pub before we arrived in Bolton. Pub doesn’t look anything special. However the staff are friendly and happy to advise you, a good selection of real ales at reasonable prices, very happy with the fish and chips and ditto my wife with her scampi, once again reasonably priced. Multiple tv screens of various sizes showing the big footy matches. We often go to the Octagon theatre. We will come here as our place to eat before heading home
