It’s such a lovely, buzzing, vibrant place! Wonderful food - ordered a halloumi burger and a Caesar salad for me and colleague for lunch. Wish I could have stayed rather have a take out! ?? ?

Honestly if you don’t know then get to know. Best place in Lancashire for Burgers ? Service is always exceptional, you can tell they truly care about their customers! As to food… no words to describe how good the food is. Highly recommend, the photos don’t do enough

Frederick's Ice Cream

The atmosphere is wonderfully vintage and the food - ice cream and waffles - is yummy. There are innumerable ice cream flavours to choose from and various cone options as well. Everything is sweet, very sweet, as one would expect.The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because there is nowhere to park except a narrow footpath against a wall, and the bathroom floor was wet and gross.

Hoghton Arms

The waiters service was excellent, Well mannered drinks arrived promptly when ordered. Food well presented and reasonable value for money. Given today climate, just one slight criticism. I ordered the trio this arrived a little to cool for myself. Though I do like my food piping hot.The lamb shank my wife had was the best she's had.All areas of the pub bar etc extremely clean and well kept.

La Rocca Restaurant & Takeaway

I took my Wife and Daughter for a Mother's Day Meal . My Pizza was cooked perfectly and very Tasty with all fresh ingredients. Our Garlic Bread with Cheese Starter was delicious and also Cooked Perfectly My Wife and Daughters Risotto was also Perfectly cooked and my Wife commented how all the Shells from the Prawns had been removed . Every thing was red Hot and Freshly out of the Oven. We will Definitely be Going there Again and I Recommended the Restaurant to my Italian Neighbour.The Bill at the End of the Meal was Cheap compared to other Italian Restaurants.

Mays Takeaway

This is the first time we have used May's and we will be visiting again. The food was served very hot and in sturdy containers. The owners /staff were very welcoming and polite. We'll done we really enjoyed our tea.

Barolo Bar & Restaurant

Come here on Saturday for my mum's birthday meal amazing place, great food, great staff so friendly and show alot of respect to there customers, little delay for the table but wasn't there fault with the previous customers turning up late, but gave us all free garlic bread with cheese to apologies the manager is such a down to earth guy and will do anything to help you and make sure everything is right, thankyou for a great night ❤️❤️❤️

Uppercrust Peri Peri & Fried Chicken

Considering the ridiculous rising prices of your biggest known chicken take away franchise and how rubbish their meals have become for the astronomical price, I can honestly say that Uppercrust is at the top end of quality spectrum.Me and my daughter go to uppercrust quite regularly now. Their food is always good quality, tastes great, it always come out hot (which by the way uppercrust is one of your biggest assets for you), and most importantly is good value for money. They also sell burgers which are very nice, just remember to ask for gravy if you want it. They do sell it but unless you look its hard to see as it doesn't appear to be on their main board.This is our favourite take away in chorley. The owners are so polite and nice.Top marks from us.Well done uppercrust.If you haven't tried it, I would highly recommend.

Encore Chorley

This is a lovely restaurant. The food is always good and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We ate as a family group and all of us really enjoyed our dinner at this gem of a restaurant.

Papa Luigis

Just had Mother's Day Lunch at Papa Luigi's and we cannot fault a single thing. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, service was swift and very professional, all of which must be difficult to achieve during a busy service period!

Vujon Indian Dining Room

Went out for dinner for an early mother's day meal. Very tasty food, nice, chill atmosphere, and friendly staff. Will definitely come again!Parking: Plenty of free parking. Beware potholes, though.

Whins Green Kitchen

Absolutely delicious vegan food. Unfortunately they were out of some choices - they're probably too popular. But everything we had tasted amazing, and the service was great. There's a lovely view of the fields nearby, where you can watch bunnies, horses and sheep prance about.

Regularly dine at the Calico lounge, great atmosphere and decor. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food options are variable but always something new to try. Great quality food and drinks to keep you coming back for more.Order hassle free at your table via the QR code or via the bar. Orders arrive fairly quickly at the table but in enough time to socialise with your friends and family.I would highly recommend trying out this venue, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do. Also located next to the cinema should you fancy a few drinks before your film.

Just want to say how nice the staff are at this Harvester Restaurant. My daughter is autistic and the staff are understanding towards her needs. She has very high anxiety in social situations and Sam is always calm with her helping to de-escalate the situation and help her. Sam is very patient and understanding and has a very general way about her that helps calm my daughter. Thank you ?

Haldi Spice & Grill Euxton

Ate in tonight here for the first time, it's really lovely inside, the food was fabulous and we had such a warm welcome! Plus you can take your own alcohol! We'll definitely be back, thank you!

Bistecca Restaurant

The food is always good and consistently the same each time we come. They cook steaks as requested, if you want it medium rare then they cook it medium rare. If you want fish, you will get the whole fish (cooked to perfection). They really listen to what you want and they deliver. The staff are always friendly, you will not be left waiting as they always make sure you are well looked after. If you need their attention then the amazing staff will come over quickly to attend to you. The prices reflect the quality of food and service. It is a real treat to eat here and they really treat you as a guest. Highly recommended and we will continue to come back.

Every Thursday is quiz night at Yarrow Bridge. Quiz Live run the smartphone quiz here fortnightly alternating with a traditional pen & paper quiz.Our smartphone quiz is free to play, lot's of fun and there is usually music bingo as well.I have often come in for food as well, the Chick N Mix sharer being my regular choice. Staff are friendly and food is always brought out quickly.

Fieldfare

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Food was quick and hot also delicious. I had the Gammon it was so good. Had a jam pudding and custard which was really yummy. Enjoyed the time spent there with my friends great atmosphere, staff were brilliant, it's definitely my favourite place to dine and always have a good meal, I would recommend it to anyone.

Went there twice for lunch and enjoyed. Good pub atmosphere, ample selection of drinks on tap, solid food quality with a reasonably extensive menu by pub standards. Cheerful and friendly staff. Will definitely repeat.

Bay Horse

Great pub, stopped in for a bit of lunch and to meet some friends, loads of space for the car, great atmosphere! Didn't catch the name of the lass who served us but give that girl a raise! Super welcoming and really helpful with my wife's dietary requirements.Definitely a local gem, I'd recommend to anyone!

Tutto at the Halfway House Pub & Restaurant

What a brilliant pub! Food is varied, of excellent quality and good portion size. Like the weekday offers and specials. Great selection of beers, really good real ales and craft beers. Staff are welcoming, very obliging and everything is done with a smile. Locals are chatty and friendly. Wish it was my local!!

The food is unreal! So tasty and huge portions, great price! Very friendly staff made us feel very welcome and also gave us desert on the house! Would recommend 10/10

Romeo's Food House

Heard great things about Romeo’s from working in the area so popped in on our way home from a day out as we don’t live locally. Had sizzlers, calzone, chips, samosas and took extra pizzas home for family to reheat later. Everything was amazing! Family were very impressed with their pizzas! Will definitely be coming back! Staff very friendly.

Travellers Rest

Dietary restrictions: They were able to make gluten free fish and chips, which was great. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would have it again. My husband had gammon which he also enjoyed.

Venice Papas

I used to love Venice Papas, we ordered every week on takeaway night, but it went a bit hit n miss for a while, it wasn't always nice like it had been. Tonight however, we decided to give it another go and it was absolutely incredible, every piece of chicken tikka was cooked perfectly, and we could tell it was decent quality meat. We will definitely be ordering again.

Think people are not being fair to this place. Most reviewers are moaning about cold food/late deliveries which is more to do with delivery service and not the takeaway.We found the food excellent and being a short walk away decided to collect our order, which was on time, hot and tasty.Will use again this Friday

Amazing little pub just out the centre, the atmosphere here was amazing. Went here to play pool and the table is brilliant and the staff are so friendly. Went at opening time on a Saturday in January, so it was quiet but still a few tables booked.. so the atmosphere was down but meant our food came fast and fresh to order..Can’t really fault the food at all, was all fresh and you could see the effort that had gone into the preparation..I had the sharing platter which was only £17.50PP; 3 big ribs, 2 big wings, a large portion of pulled pork & pulled brisket, homemade smoked sausage, fries, ranch beans, coleslaw & a handful of pickles..If I had one gripe it would be the brisket not being sliced and kept whole but it was still very nice and tender when pulled.You get 3 homemade sauces at the table, Tennessee BBQ, Honey Sriracha & Carolina Mustard… all 3 are superb.The host/owner is very nice welcoming lady with plenty gusto and a great sense of honour..Will definitely return!

I have been a customer of JJs for over 20 years and although I have tried other Chinese take aways in the area, none compare to JJs. The food is cooked to perfection and they are always happy to accomodate changing some of the ingreadients to suit your preference where possible. I would not hesitate to recommend them

Food seems to be good one night then not so good on another. Maybe different workers on shift. But that girl on the till always seems rushed off her feet. Possible she needs more time off and more hugs of appreciation.

Just tried this place for the 1st time after my mate howerd tried to put me off it, I don't know why, cos it was well ace, nice chunky pieces of meat, the lamb was amazing I recommend the combination kebab. EXCELLENT. I will be back.

J Seas Finest Fish and Chips.

Cannot recommend J Seas enough. I am not from the area but pass by regularly for work. The home made cheese and onion pie is to die for and the staff are all very friendly. Id definitely recommend giving J Seas a go if you're passing!!

The Burger Capital

23rd July. A very wet one. Random decision to visit Rivington brew co tap for food and drink. Expected it to be empty. It was anything but that. I set my sights straight on the burger capital and opted for the well named pablo escoburger. This burger was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Easily top 3 and I EAT! ??. On a miserable day the service was still top quality and I made sure I went back and told the chef how much I enjoyed the food he had made. Overall the whole place was brilliant and I can see why on such a dull day it was still very busy. Bar staff was very friendly and the service was as good as the food. If you haven’t been then I highly recommend you do go. Will be returning.

Nice local traditional pub, great open fire, staff who served us should be told not to hold glasses at top? Some of the locals dont seem to be too friendly to strangers getting served at the bar obstructing their seats, no vaping signs up but idiot sat near us got away with it openly.

Came here yesterday while waiting for my car which was at the garage down the road well what a little hidden gem this is.... absolutely beautiful food and drink....I had the fruit toast which is home made followed by a scone and a pot of tea all beautifully fresh and served with a smile ?. Staff are wonderful toilet is spotless and the tables are quickly cleaned ready to welcome the next lucky guests to find it. Will definitely return and bring different people so they can enjoy. Thank you ?

The Little Chippy

Really nice fish and chips from this cute little chippy.Last 3 visits the portion size of a regular chips seems to have shrunk to a small portion which is unsual. Possible cut backs but let your customers know that this is the case rather than getting home to share out for 2 people and there's not been enough to go around to be honest!Staff are hit and miss and at times and have no rappor when you speak to them, one lady on a Thursdays is a misery and just has a I can't be bothered attitude. Come on guys put a smile on your faces it doesn't coat anything.

Whenever we are in chorley this is the only chip shop we go to the fish and chips are excellent and not dear at all real value for money would definitely recommend it to anyone just give it a try you won't be Disappointed

Didn't have the food so didn't want to bring down their rating, had a few drinks with my cousin. The pool table is the best in Chorley. Slightly leans on the right but the equipment is fantastic.Parking: Theres parking all over chorley.

Skippers Fish and Chips

The friendly gentleman (I'm guessing the owner) was very friendly and struck up a conversation as soon as I had made my order. It felt like he was on a first name basis with many of his customers.The food was very very tasty and would recommend to everyone who has a hankering for a beautiful battered fish. Only criticism I can give was that the order I received was a little drenched with vinager, a little too much for my liking.
