Gastropubs in Chorley

“Not the best experience but certainly enjoyable. The atmosphere got quite noisy as the evening got busier, mainly due to the tiled floor and acoustics.I found the service quite mixed. Going from warm and friendly to a little standoffish, depending on the individual serving. The food was delicious. Nicely seasoned and tasty. Portion size felt about right based on the price and the type of food.Vegetarian options: There's an underwhelming selection of vegetarian dishes.Dietary restrictions: The waiter did ask about any dietary requirements when he presented the menus.Parking: There's ample parking.Kid-friendliness: It didn't give the impression of being kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It's level from the car park to the entrance. I don't recall any steps on entry. Inside it's level with a reasonable amount of space to maneuver.”

“Loved it here. This pub is great and has a nice big car park that's free too. The food is great and we enjoyed every bite. I had a big group of 16 and everyone was very happy. There was lots for the children to do, some computer games to play with learning games on and colouring in also toys to play with. The toilets were clean. The pub was clean, warm, and spacious. The staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming. I would definitely come again when I'm next visiting. We celebrated my mums birthday, and Paul Cassell went to extra trouble to make it special. He went the extra mile the whole evening making sure we were happy, where we were seated, that we liked the food, asked if we needed anything more, making sure my Mams dessert had a candle in it and brought out at the right time. Paul was just so attentive, and I think that makes a big difference. He also had a lovely chat with us when ordering our food and made us laugh. Great service given. Perfect evening!”
