Food seems to be good one night then not so good on another. Maybe different workers on shift. But that girl on the till always seems rushed off her feet. Possible she needs more time off and more hugs of appreciation.

Very blessed to live across the road from this place, solid 8/10 every time you go, they don’t mess about at all, haven’t found too many decent Chinese’ in Chorley, this place won’t exactly blow your hair back as such but decent scran and consistent, know what you will get everytime with them??

Been a while since had takeaway. Prices have gone up twice since last visit. Used to be free prawn crackers with £9 spend then increased to £15 and now £16. Meal itself was below par. King prawns were like those bought in a supermarket not the extra large ones they used to do. Over all very poor. Prices up quality down. Cheaper options locally so will now review options. It’s a shame they were great but have capitalised on increase in fuel and food prices.

Love this Chinese, the lady on the counter is always friendly and as im not a huge fan of prawn crackers she always throws in fortune cookies instead which are a great hit with the kids.The food here is amazing, im yet to have a bad meal be it Chinese food or good old pie and chips.The only thing I would say that could improve would be if they did fish too but that's not a huge thingParking: If you're lucky enough to park outside the shot on the path its great but if not you might need to nip down a side street and walk so no big issue.

We've tried a few in the area and hands down this is the best, not expensive and very friendly! Always come here and can highly recommend the king prawns salt and pepper and the large spring roll! Hubby also likes the Crispy chilli beef
It’s a 10 mile round trip for me to get to Gwok Hing and I drive past numerous other Chinese Takeaways in order to make a visit. I’ve eaten almost everything off the menu and it is all very nice. I particularly like the old school fried rice which most places seem lazy with these days, Yung Chow is my go to rice from here. The service is always very pleasant and the place is nice and clean. I particular rate their curry, satay and sweet chilli dishes. Never had a bad meal from here, highly recommend a visit

Absolutely love this Chinese. I've tried a few in Chorley but I honestly don't think you cant beat Gwok Hing for overall price Vs quality. Each main comes with either chips, rice or noodles, so when you see the price of £5.50 (ish) per meal, you don't need to include the extras. It's always prepared quickly and I haven't ever had a bad meal from there

We have always really liked this Chinese, food until our last visit was always great but on the last occasion I had the duck in plum sauce and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing it away. My husband enjoyed his meal of beef in black pepper however so don’t know if there was just a problem with this one dish. 3 stars as we previously loved it but I will not be going back here in a hurry. Staff always pleasant, such a shame as we thought we’d found our favourite.
