The waiters service was excellent, Well mannered drinks arrived promptly when ordered. Food well presented and reasonable value for money. Given today climate, just one slight criticism. I ordered the trio this arrived a little to cool for myself. Though I do like my food piping hot.The lamb shank my wife had was the best she's had.All areas of the pub bar etc extremely clean and well kept.

It has been about 10 years since we went to the Hoghton Arms, as the last time we went we were really disappointed, but this time, we were amazed. The food was excellent the ambiance was superb the staff were brilliant and always attentive, we loved it and we will be back. Also we loved the furnishings, the tables were really good and stable, no rocking with wobbly legs. Ace, keep it up.

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and the atmosphere is superb. The staff are friendly, welcoming and make your whole experience memorable. The food was excellent with many varied dishes. Service was prompt and efficient and the prices are very competitive giving excellent value for money. You can tell that the staff enjoy their work which makes for an outstanding customer experience. We will certainly be revisiting as it is likely to become one of our favourite dining venues.
