We ate at Luciano last Saturday night, there was a large party of family went for a birthday.All of our guests enjoyed their meals, but nearly all had something to say about the staff.At the end of the night I just paid the bill and went home. It wasn't until the next morning when I got asked about the bill that I noticed a discretionary 10% service charge added to it, as you can guess with a party of 12 people with meals and drinks it was a good amount.I have looked at the menu and just under the allergies' information it says about this but it's not that noticeable unless you are looking for it.We were not asked if we wanted to pay this which I find unreasonable and therefore I have decided that we will not eat here again .

The food was fabulous. I got a Margherita Pizza and a salmone Giallo. The desserts were also amazing. I got an Italian Vanilla Pannacotta. The staff were very friendly. I recommend to have the salmone Giallo. I would definitely come again.

A beautiful well presented restaurant, the staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The lounge area to start off the meal was a lovely setting and allowed for a relaxing drink before the meal started. The food was fresh and delicious, there was a wide variety of choice with something for everyone in our party. Overall we had a great, tasty meal and believed it offered good value for money.

Visited on the evening of Saturday 23rd December after making a booking online for 3 of us a week or so before. On arrival they were obviously very busy so we didn't have high expectations. However, the service was amazing. Very friendly, attentive and efficient. There was plenty of choice menu-wise, including Starter/Main/Dessert specials and Cocktails/Wine specials too. Food and drink was fantastic and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere. We'll definitely be booking again!

Booked Luciano’s for my wife’s 30th birthday. Maurizio and his team were superb throughout the experience and their singing of Happy Birthday was a highlight. The perfect food and atmosphere for the occasion.

Our Son and Daughter in Law held their wedding reception at Luciano’s and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were wonderful, efficient, friendly and professional. The Chef made a beautiful Italian style wedding cake which looked amazing and tasted divine. The buffet food was delicious, with something for everyone. Although the reception was held in the bar area it never felt as though we were sharing the space with other customers, it was a very relaxed, cosy and comfortable atmosphere. All the guests said how impressed they were with Luciano’s. Thank you to everyone who helped to make the day so special. I am sure we will visit again soon to dine in the restaurant.

Popped in on Saturday afternoon after a bit of retail therapy in Bolton. I'd driven past so many times and wondered what the restaurant was like as we love trying new places Suberb is the only word that adequately describes this place It is a genuine Italian, staffed by many italians who understand service perfectly We tried the Scallops started with a cauliflower cream sauce followed by the Tagliatelle Carbonara We have recently come back from Rome and Venice this year and these two dishes surpassed meals we had in both Italian cities The decor and ambiance is excellent. Delivery of dishes was timely. It is definitely a venue for a romantic meal for two, or a celebration for a family group I will be back very soon
We were a group of 4 girls visiting our friend who lives nearby. We all Flight Attendants who have travelled extensively. This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. From the moment we arrived .. taking our coats, sitting us by the fire. We ordered a bottle of wine within seconds 4 glasses were in front of us. There was a lady singing who was fabulous. The atmosphere was brilliant. The food was amazing. Aranchi balls were ?. Everything was wonderful. You have the most amazing staff who clearly enjoy their jobs all smiling and willing to go above and beyond to give everyone a great night. When you work in customer services you notice all the small things and your staff all deserve 5 stars we had a brilliant night. Singing happy birthday for our friend was the icing on the cake. I wish this restaurant was down south where I live… so many restaurants could learn a lot from you. Thank you for a fabulous night.

This is our first time at Luciano's, despite only living a mile or two away. This was a last-minute booking and we really weren't disappointed. The first thing that hits you is how friendly and welcoming the staff are, and the atmosphere which is superb. We opted for just main courses, and I had Maialino Croccante, while my wife had Filetto Surf and Turf. Both meals were superb. The belly pork on mine was so tender and the black pudding balls were a perfect accompaniment. The Filetto was done to perfection and just melted. Coming here tonight was like getting a winning ticket after our original restaurant screwed up. In all fairness, this was far better then we could hope for. The Möet Champagne was chilled beautifully too. We have to say a big thanks to Francesco, our 'guy' tonight. This is how service should be..attentive, not overbearing, and it made us feel special. The finale was a Happy Birthday serenade to my wife! Fantastic, guys! Many thanks! I so recommend this place, VERY much!

Going from warm and friendly to a little standoffish, depending on the individual serving.The food was delicious. Nicely seasoned and tasty. Portion size felt about right based on the price and the type of food.Vegetarian options: There's an underwhelming selection of vegetarian dishes.Dietary restrictions: The waiter did ask about any dietary requirements when he presented the menus.Parking: There's ample parking.Kid-friendliness: It didn't give the impression of being kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It's level from the car park to the entrance. I don't recall any steps on entry. Inside it's level with a reasonable amount of space to maneuver.

We visited Luciano's as part of a wedding reception last weekend - it was one of the best weddings we've been to!! The welcome was so warm and friendly, and staff were amazing throughout. The food was amazing!! Everything was so delicious and tasty without being over powering in flavours. Portions were so generous. The drinks were also great, the prosecco especially was perfectly light and fresh. Decor was lovely, comfortable and cosy. The location seemed good, easy to get to with plenty of parking and a nice outdoor area. We can't wait to visit again - the food was delicious and everything was made even better as the staff treated us like like they were genuinely trying to make sure we all had the best day.
