After hearing so many good things about ottoman I finally made it,,It was my first visit last night (Saturday 17/3/24) to celebrate a great friends birthday,, There was well over 30 of us,, and still all the main courses came out pretty much same time,, a few had starters so they held back with the mains until the starter's were cleared and then it all started flowing,, smooth as owt! The owner was on point directing the polite attentive staff and keeping the drinks coming, I was actually on coffee, nice coffee too may I add,, bean to cup, ,, the beer of choice for most was a bottled beer "birra moretti" (going off the condensation on the bottles it was also suitably chilled)flawless service!I went for the Turkish delight, lamb lokum I think it was called,, It was £21.90 and worth every penny,, I was initially going to have a steak but a friend recommended the lamb as he'd had it previously,, wow ? it really was exactly as it said on the menu "melt in the mouth" accompanied by a rich buttery sauce,,I love lamb anyway but id never had It cooked that way. i chose rice with it ,, it came with salad too, plus chips option also half/half , Quite a few went for skewered meats, some had chicken dishes, with zero unhappy eaters,, overall a very pleasant, reasonably priced eating experience....also no queuing for toilets as there's 2 sets,, they was spotlessly clean and smelling fresh ,,can't wait to eat there again.MarkParking: free after 5pm cheap Car park at rear in daytime

If I could give it 6 stars I would. I've been to the Ottoman many many times. The food is so fresh, the service is amazing are they are all genuinely happy and nothing is too much effort. The beer selection is great and nothing beats an open kitchen cooking your food right in front of you with all the beautiful smells.I've been at lunchtime for thier menu special and for the money it really is something else, I couldn't believe the choice and I have tried various different starters and mains and they are all great.I've been during the evening with friends and the atmosphere even on a weeknight is great as is the food obviously.If you want to try something really special I highly recommend the Turkish night.The Ottoman is by far Chorley's best all round restaurant.Parking: There is a massive car-park behind which before 17:00 is free for an hour and about £0.50p for 3hrs therefter, there are always spaces even during the day time on a weekday. After 17:00 the car-park is free.There is free parking for an hour on Market Street a little further down but the large car-park next to the Doctor's is probably closer and the charges exactly the same as above.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs, small meals, plenty of soft drinksWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is located on the ground floor, there are no steps whatsoever anywhere within.
