“My new chippy! First of all the people that run the place are brilliant and really friendly. They actually care about it being healthy (but not in a boring way where it tastes like cardboard), they use tallow instead of seed oils, which to be honest tastes way better as well. The chips were great, and the fish was brilliant. The batter was nice and crispy and not soggy like some chippies do. They also do a really good deal for a small fish and chips, which would be totally adequate if you're not that hungry or buying for a child, but you're going to want to get a full sized portion, because it's tasty. Their curry sauce is also really nice and tastes like it is home made. It has a nice warmth to it and a bit of a kick. You can taste the spice, but it isn't too hot.
Always seem to be able to park right outside, even when it is busy which is helpful, and a friend of mine is gluten intolerant, and says they provide gluten free options.
And last but not least, when it comes to takeaways, it REALLY helps that they take card payments.”
