The Mill at Charnock Farm is a cosy little pub that is part of Charnock Farm. Charnock Farm is a multipurpose venue that can host weddings among other events. The food and service at this pub are excellent. This pub is dog friendly and the staff member that served us was friendly to our dog. The standout feature of The Mill was the atmosphere. It had a warm, cosy feeling with a real fire to give it a truly warm atmosphere. Charnock Farm, of which The Mill is part of, has a large, good quality car park.

Really cool atmosphere to have a couple of drinks. Can't say anything about the food but the bartenders were all very friendly. We stayed at the Motel next door.

This is a wonderful location with friendly staff. I went to the café for breakfast at about 10:20am. I ordered my food after a short wait and the place was buzzing and seemed very popular. After waiting for about 15mins I was told that they hadn't bought in enough food so they couldn't give me the breakfast. Tesco Café down the road was a better option. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. I bought a pizza the night before, the menu is limited and it is just a frozen pizza thrown in an oven, so I wasn't blown away. It's a shame they couldn't give me a box or takeaway container, as I had to walk across the car park with a plate and a glass of pepsi to my room! It would have been nice if they could have brought over themselves considering the cost of the room for the night. I would definitely stay here again, but I'd just skip the food and go elsewhere which is a real shame because I did want to support a local business.

Visited the cafe. Average food, friendly staff but the noise of the pot washing from the kitchen was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think never mind talk. How pots were not smashed is a miracle

Could have had more staff on as it was a very nice day.
