Busy village pub. On the pricier side. Limited food options

The talbot is what ppl would class as 'my local' I don't go in often but nipped for a sunny evening stroll this week and called in. The ambience is classy and friendly staff. I just wish the food menu was more extensive as we used to eat there quite a lot when the menu was more varied. All in all lovely pub definitely worth a visit.

If you move to our village bring ear plugs.Live music which is way to loud was kept awake to late on both May bank hoildays. At one point I could hear what the singer was singing. The owner needs to relaise his pub is bang in the middle of two estates not country side pub

This popular Euxton pub has gone through many changes over the years, but remains a popular watering hole for the local area. Good choice of 4 hand pulled beers , lagers and ciders. Large 2 level public area and tap room all with disabled access. There is a large beer garden to the rear with a kids area, and an area to the front (roadside). If you are a sports fan there are plenty of screens around the place. It's a welcoming pub and well worth a visit.

This is more a real drinking pub then food. Not been in for a bit, I went in the afternoon and the style of the decoration very good...sky sports ? and chilled music...was nice

The 3 star review is ridiculous. This pub is absolutely fantastic and Andrea and her bar staff are the best I have encountered for years. The pub was rammed and I went up to the bar for my 2nd & 3rd drinks and the staff knew what it was. The words, "same again" in a pub that busy is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has too many amateurs. Definitely a "go to place" for professional friendly service and good beer. Well done
Spot on service,food & atm[sphere.

Pleasant place to be and eat. Good parking.
Nice pub but a little expensive for a local.
Always friendly, lovely inside with a nice atmosphere
Great beer, very clean and welcoming, was a great night out
Just drink but looking good with the refurb and the lad at the bar was a thoroughly good chap.
