First time here. Nice inside with plenty of seating. Great selection of food. Bar bill varied though...first round £9.00 (pint & half of Peroni). Second round £9.50?. Reasonably busy (lunchtime) & typically people queing from every angle with only two staff so a bit of a drudge waiting to be served. Very friendly staff though & food ordered (Ultimate big combo) was well worth the asking price. All in all a nice experience & with it being local it definitely stacks up 'above others' in the area. Criticisms?..maybe one more person on the bar when it gets a bit chocca.?Parking: Plenty of spacesWheelchair accessibility: No issues that are obvious

Wonderful atmosphere at this pub, great fun to visit on a weekend. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Pippa and John are the absolute best and help make each visit very special. Highly recommend!

Decent enough pub, just don’t get Guinness whatever you do. Worst Guinness I’ve ever had the displeasure of ordering

We went for an early tea on TuesdayThere was hardly anyone in when we arrived at 3-30ish. We've found that this is an ideal time to go anywhere to eat. It's too late for the lunchtime rush, and too early for tea. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered 3 meals and it came to just over £32. They have offers on and it's well worth it. My hubby ordered an Ultimate Big Combo. It was supposed to be a sharing starter but he had it as a main course for£10-29. What a plateful! There was Scampi, Onion Rings, Chicken Goujons, Chicken Nuggets, Garlic Bread, Chips and dips. My son had a Korean BBQ Chicken Burger and that was served with Onion Rings and Chips, another generous Portion coming in at £10-49. I had a Mix it Up which entailed a choice of one plus 2 sides plus a choice of dip. My choices were, Gammon, Jacket Potato, Coleslaw and Sweet Chilli sauce. Again a generous helping priced at £11-79. There were 3 pieces of Gammon on mine and I ended up bringing one home. There's a free car park, plenty room to move about inside so you certainly don't feel cramped. Plenty room for wheelchairs /pushchairs. Accessible toilets. My only negative is that it's looking a bit shabby in places, and actually that's down to thoughtless customers who do wanton damage. Thanks folks, we'll definitely be back.

5 stars for the food because we never have any complaints about it. The service is always so friendly, with a special mention to John, who always goes above and beyond and the atmosphere was great, family friendly even though the place was full because the football was on.

Booked a table in the week was ready for us on arrival although we had to find it ourselves as no staff on the door. Had quite a long wait at the bar to order food as only one member off staff on the bar. Food arrived in good time but one roast arrived with only peas on it quickly taken back yo kitchen to have more veg sopped on top off dinner returned with no apology offered. Food was ok but looked nothing like the roast pictured on the menu. Table was cleared soon after we had all finished with no table check done at any point. Manager/supervisor was walking round in jeans and a jumper looking more like a customer. Toilets need attention. We will think long and hard before we return
