Absolutely delicious vegan food. Unfortunately they were out of some choices - they're probably too popular. But everything we had tasted amazing, and the service was great. There's a lovely view of the fields nearby, where you can watch bunnies, horses and sheep prance about.

We stumbled across this cafe set in a lovely location as we drove through the area (we aren’t from close by). It’s well sign posted from the road and the signs state it serves breakfast/coffee etc, just what we were looking for. However, it’s not clearly stated outside or on the advertising boards/ flags (not that we saw) that it’s vegetarian/vegan. I have absolutely nothing against this type of restaurant, actually I think it’s a fantastic idea and I’m sure many people are looking for more establishments such as this. I just feel it could be made clearer from outside to avoid any confusion. My partner and I didn’t realise it was vegetarian, until after we’d gone in and sat down. Once we had looked at the menus and had realised, we then felt rude getting up and leaving (yes, we are cowedly I will admit) ?The food we did have was ok, just not what we fancied or anticipated when going in.The views from the windows are amazing and it’s a lovely restaurant Inside and out if you are looking for vegetarian or vegan places to eat.I felt it was slightly pricey for what we had, although this is the first vegan/ vegetarian restaurant I’ve been to, so I can’t say I have anything to compare it to on that front.

Really nice food, with stunning surroundings. Very reasonable prices ? ?

Food is okay, service good and overall this is a decent eatery. The massive let down today was being charged £6.50 for an inch thick piece of coffee and walnut cake. We've been a few times but the cake robbery has left a sour taste .

I loved it here, it was my first time but not my last! We had the afternoon tea and everything was vegan, delicious, freshly made and perfect. The views are incredible, the staff are super friendly and helpful.I can’t wait to go back! ??

Lovely place with fabulous views. On the day we visited, they had run out of our first choices, but that didn't ruin our lunch. Excellent service from all the staff ?

I really wanted to love this place but sadly everything fell kind of flat. The food wasn't that good - veggie roast. Everything kind of tasted the same, it was incredibly rich and sweet with nothing to refresh the pallet. The deserts me and my partner had were awful. Looked great, but bad. My trillionaire slice could have been in a chiller which may have helped the texture and stopped the base being mush, but I don't think the taste could have been salvaged. My partner had an apple crumble with custard but was delivered a red berry crumble which he said wasn't ace.The service was perfectly adequate.I have no idea how the floor staff coped with the acoustics in there. All hard edges and the background noise clatter was unbearable.Luckily I had ear phones, but they weren't enough to block out the sound of dogs barking!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarianDietary restrictions: I told the waitress that I avoid dairy and gluten and I'm sure she scoffed! ?

Superb location and views. Try to booke a booth by the window for the best experience! The ‘burger’ was delicious.

Returned to Whins today and had another lovely visit, really tasty breakfast, I had poached eggs on toast with a side of halloumi, and my husband had a big breakfast that came with a complimentary pot of tea, fantastic value ?…. The cakes looked delicious so I will definitely save room next time, staff were really lovely and service was excellent. It’s a beautiful spot surrounded by spectacular countryside and a really lovely brunch spot… I’m hoping to go and try out the evening menu soon!

My favourite place to eat, they have the best selection of vegan meals in the area. Menu changes 3-4 times a year, so it never becomes boring, and the cakes for desert are amazing too. We usually end up taking the cake home for later, we're too full to eat it there.
