This place was brilliant, so quiet food was amazing. The location was fab and the room we had was stunning lovely decor huge bed with a tv (which I now want one of them) and sheep in the field opposite us you just couldn't of asked for more already booked again for MayRooms: The room was so good, good, and a great size. Everything you could need in the decoration was of a really good standard. The picture window view was outstanding air conditioned too really clean actually spotless loved it booked againFood & drinks: Great menu loads of choice and really good value all seemed to be local produce too

Lovely restaurant with rooms, we had a great evening meal with family then the two of us stayed overnight and enjoyed a nice breakfast. They had a deal on so it was very reasonable too.

Lovely pub, amazing service and the food was delicious.We had a 3 course meal which was so nice.The service was truly amazing too! Catering for a cheeky little girl asking for a service beyond normal.Also, I've been here a few times for a pre and post walk drink. Which has always been nice and worth the visit.Would highly recommend this pub to anyone in the area or visiting.

Stayed here overnight as we'd been attending a wedding at nearby Eaves Hall. The breakfast next morning was good and plentiful.Rooms: The room was very clean with tea/coffee making facilities.Food & drinks: The breakfast was hot and plentiful.

We just had a one night stay here and absolutely loved it. We had a booking in April but unfortunately had to reschedule, the staff were very kind and let us move to a date of our choice.Such a beautiful cosy room, with everything you could need. Best night sleep I’ve had in ages in the comfiest bed, plus an excellent and large shower. Little touches like having an adjustable vanity mirror on the dresser and a little chocolate each with a fresh bottle of water waiting for us were much appreciated!We didn’t stay for breakfast as had plans but it was included in the price which we thought was very affordable given what a perfect room we had. We have recommended to our friends who we were visiting for them to suggest to any future visitors!

Two of us visited for lunch in August 23. Warm welcome and service throughout the meal. Relaxed, quiet bar area where we sat. Good wine selection and well kept beers. Very good food with a good choice for vegetarians. The cod goujons were the best version of fish and chips I've had in years. Recommended
