Food is amazing so are the staff... The price is fantastic.... The only downside is with the upstairs being closed the past 3 times we have been the Downstairs is full and we have had to leave... Was never a problem when the upstairs was open.

Walked in, was told I could only order toasties and panini's because they weren't cooking today. Ordered my toastie and then the young girl said to the elderly couple behind me that she'd be happy to cook him a sausage sandwich. The toastie was delicious but I won't be going back because of favouritism showed to regular customers.

We went today for afternoon tea before I start chemo on Monday. Lovely. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Me, my daughter, granddaughter and 12 week old great granddaughter were made very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely go again. Thanks girls.

This was the first time that we have tried the food and drink at Cafe Brioche. We just dropped in on our way home for a quick coffee and we had a scone with jam as well. The coffee was full flavoured and the scone was light and tasty. We will try the cafe again the next time we are in Clitheroe.

Absolutely love this pub. it is our second time here in as many months. The food is outstanding, service great, lovely oldy worldy pub, great range of beers etc. The food is what you would expect to see in a linen restaurant, but without all of the stuffiness. Great service too, not too quick, not too slow, food was piping hot and beautifully presented. I cannot recommend this pub highly enough, love it.

Snacks and the best lamb fat brioche ever made set you off for a memorable meal. Nothing too much trouble; staff knowledgeable and friendly. The set lunch is a bargain..... I had lamb which literally melted. Thank you. Keep it up

Pity about the carpark for wheel chair users however we managed. Very pleasant staff food was very good and served using a hotplates. Certainly worth another visit.

Very slow service, all food excellent except the main courses, the suet pudding was claggy, the salmon was cooked beautifully but was just warm. the side of chips were probably the best i have ever had

We had the Spring tasting menu, which offered a good choice for a very reasonable £35. Cheese course was outstanding, and the pea veloute also especially good. The service was excellent, unobtrusive but it was clear that the wait staff were keeping an eye on things. We were placed where we had asked at a corner table. Tables are quite close together, and we were unfortunate in being sat next to a very loud table of three. Parking is not easy, maybe best to park in the street. We would certainly eat here again.

Lovely meal as usual but long delay after starter and disappointed that the ‘custard ‘ on the menu wasn't available by the time we were choosing our sweet.

We have had several excellent meals at the Freemasons in recent years and had no hesitation in suggesting it as the venue for a Sunday lunch with friends whom we hadn't seen for a number of years and who had not yet visited the pub. It gives me no pleasure to convey our immense disappointment with the food served yesterday. The standard of cooking in each course was much lower than that expected of such a vaunted establishment and the quantity of particularly the main course was so excessive as to be off-putting. Three of the four diners left as much as half on their plates uneaten. I do hope that this was a one-off, but I doubt we will be tempted to make a return visit to find out. I would like to note, however, that the service was well executed, especially considering that our primary waitress was on her first shift and managed to carry it off in a most pleasing manner.

I have been here a few times. I wanted to cheer my daughter up and unfortunately the food wasn't to your usual standard. We were very disappointed
