I can only echo the many other positive reviews here - first time visit by a couple of southerners, approaching a certain age, but will certainly return given the opportunity. Excellent patient service and good traditional grub. Nice lean bacon in the toasted sandwiches. Keep it up!

One of my favourite places! Best pie, peas and gravy in town. Sit there, take it in and you'll feel proper northern.

Woman that works there is horrible & rude, no customer service skills. I ordered a sandwich for my daughter who has learning disabilities and the woman then asked my daughter if she wants white or brown bread, then asked if she wants sliced bread or a bun, then she asked what sort of butter she want. I was mad because the woman was clearly mocking my daughter. After 40 minutes waiting for the food I started choking on my pie which turns out to have lots of pepper inside which was put there deliberately. If you don't want to be discriminated and mocked for your disabilities then this is not the cafe for you.
Lovely little Café in Clitheroe. Me and Mum had cheese and onion pie , mine with beans mum's with peas . Then brilliant scones with cream and jam , washed down with cups of tea . Friendly staff , nice atmosphere and busy , so that speaks volumes. Well worth a visit for a nice lunch ?

Visited a few times with my son after training. He absolutely loves the sausages and always eats a large breakfast. I enquired about their Whinberry pie and they offered to make me my own; which I didn't share ☺️. Always busy and they make their own cakes etc. Been around for ages and worth a visit.
