Fantastic food, really enjoyed my kebab. Just struggled to pay for it as they don't take card over the counter! I had to then order it's online, it didn't seem too intuitive but I persevered. That said I was at the end of an evening having consumed some alcohol, not sure that had a bearing on it...I'd visit again. I did worry that there wasn't anyone else in on my visit, but several orders left for delivery. The Khyber was also recommended to me by a local chap, as the best of the bunch on this strip.Thanks

Walked in for a tray of donner meat but went for the donner sizzler..donner chicken and shish cooked in Peri Peri sauce £9.50...expected a large tray I got a 9/10" pizza box filled with chips chicken donner and lamb shish.very tasty hot and very good value...seen these guys on fb and will defo be going again 10/10

First time we have had a takeaway from here. Really authentic Indian home style curries . These are the real deal. We had the Garlic Chilly (sic) Chicken, Keema Karahi, a garlic naan and a tandoori roti together with popadums (fried) and chutney. The curries are not overly spiced and they come with fresh green chillies sprinkled on the top that allow you to spice them up to tour taste. They also do pizza, burgers, kebabs and various sundries and box meals. You can order and pay on line (a bit of a faff until you are registered but then it works a treat. You also get loyalty points for discounts on future orders.

First time ordering tonight. I seen the website mentions they deliver to Sabden. But the lad who took my call had to clear this with his boss first.....Wanted a large mixed kebab for me and the Mrs. Then asked what he would recommended for an authentic curry. To then be told they don't serve curries (Bit of a suprise. But if I looked properly beforehand I would have seen that curries aren't on the menu).Got recommended a keema box. So I went with that and a large mixed kebab....First Impressions SALTY! Like really salty! The keema box is 10" pizza box with some fries, keema, and Donner meat on top. The keema wasn't anything like a curry. But mutton keema cooked in a very salty stock with a touch of chilli heat. The Donner meat is the generic mass produced Donner. Wouldn't like to say if it contained any lamb. But it wasn't terrible. But paired together.... So dehydrating! First tastes were nice. But after a few mouthfuls. It was just too much. Even with a glass of water to wash it down. Either way. We both finished it....Next up. The large mixed kebab. Again, generic Donner meat. With some chunks of tandoori style chicken. Yet again... Salty! The chicken was cooked nicely. But really over concentrated tandoori style marinade.I asked for salad and sauces separately. Which we got. But even them as palate cleansers couldn't take away from the crazy over salting of everything else!I think I'm very fair in reviewing as a three star here. It should probably be a two. But portions were okay. Delivery time was accurate. The food all seemed clean! Just again.... TOO MUCH SALT!

new to Clitheroe I did not have any knowledge of the local takeaways so Decided to take a punt on the Khyber takeaway. I could not have made a better choice. Excellent in all areas

The chicken tika salone was bland and sweet... not hot hot as described .... chicken in a sauce... not as I was expecting ... disappointed for a normally great take away ..
