Visited here recently with my husband. We had high hopes and were not disappointed. The service and food were incredible! Personal favourites were the croquettes and almond tart.

Lovely little place, went during the week in work hours, had 25% off food. Food was good, I went for all meat dishes, very nice.

We stopped here to eat after a local walk. Wow! What a little gem. We received a very friendly welcome from the staff and were seated immediately, even though they were catering for a large party. We chose 4 dishes which were a selection of fish, chicken, veggie etc. All were piping hot, served promptly and were absolutely delicious. Washed down with a pint of the lager (I can’t remember the name but it was superb). I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back next time we are in town. If you haven’t been, go next time you are in Whalley, you won’t be disappointed. 11/10

Visited with friends as Tapas 47 has vegan options. The food and service throughout our visit was excellent. The front of house team especially the young waitress with blonde hair (didn't get her name) was brilliant. We had various meat/fish tapas for our friends and my vegan husband and I had vegan croquetas served with vegan mayo, chickpea and spinach stew, garlic mushrooms and patatas bravas. Will definitely revisit and hope they introduce more vegan options.

Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, we were seen to very quickly too. The food was really good. I got the black pudding and chorizo hash with a poached egg. It's basically a breakfast patatas bravas! Very nice ? I will be back soon ?

Absolutely Amazing Food and Customer Service. My child is autistic so eating out is a bit of an ordeal, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic the sandwich was succulent and bread was crisp the prefect combination. The children’s menu was good and empty plates all round ☺️. The drinks were good and a great choice or beers. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Can’t wait to try the brunch menu.

A great evening all round! A relaxed, friendly & comfortable atmosphere & surroundings. Excellent food & service. Enjoyed a variety of tasty dishes including the meat balls & croquettes which were ‘out of this world!’ My partner is a trained chef & has spent many holidays travelling around Spain sampling the cuisine & he was really impressed! We shall certainly become regulars! Thank you & Best Wishes Laura

I am late to writing this review, but purposefully came back to do so because this place is truly deserving of a five star review. We do not live in Whalley, but are not too far away and will tend to visit here due to its wonderful selection of lovely independent restaurants, bars and shop and Tapas 47 is exactly that. From start to finish, we were blown away with everything from the service to the friendly front of house team to the delicious and varied choice of tapas dishes available on the menu, every dish we had was delicious and tasted so fresh to a massive credit to the chefs behind this place that deliver such a delicious menu. It’s not only the food that makes this place worthy of the review, but the atmosphere and ambience inside the place is really welcoming and warm, the staff cannot do enough for you and are very polite and attentive. I’ve recently spotted they’re looking to start brunch, and I for one will definitely be there to try it out because if there main menu is anything to go by, it’s going to be a great welcome to the Ribble Valley. To all involved, whatever you’re doing - keep up the good work because we will certainly be back!

I was looking forward to eating at Tapas 47 as I hadn’t visited since it opened and had heard good things. I was disappointed with the meal, as all aspects very average. Once our order had been taken, we weren’t checked in on by the waitresses for more drinks or to see how our meal was. The food was mostly fried, with the fish platter bulked out with salad with the Padron Peppers not included (as the menu advised). The red sangria wasn’t enjoyable however the white wine was ok. It also felt that the restaurant had been decorated cheaply with fake plants and ikea furniture, not like a nice restaurant should be. I’d be hesitant to return as there are better places to eat in the local area.
