We went to see a Christmas Carol performed by Saltmine. Absolutely brilliant, the best show I've seen in years. Very funny and tremendous acting. The Grand is a classy venue, comfortable seats and reasonably priced bar. The free iced water was really appreciated in the interval.

Thoroughly enjoyed 'Christmas Carol' great acting with that seasonal message of showng kindness to others.As an aside I must mention the young lady on reception who pointed out that I had overpaid for the performance and at the interval gave me a refund.I was totally impressed with her friendly & personable manner.An absolute credit to the Grand & a fine ambassador.Thanks once againfor providing such great family entertainment.

A great band (The Swing Commanders) with a diverse repertoire to entertain many musical flavours and lead was slightly charismatic. Chairs were not terribly comfortable not uncomfortable. Drinks queue was quite long. Venue was well kept and airy and volunteers very attentive and courteous. Great spot for more musical and theatrical performances.

Visit the grand s lot. Last night went to see the swing commanders, never seen them before but heard lots about them. Anyone who reads this and gets the chance to go and see this band live please go. The three gentleman and two ladies that make up the band are ultra talented, they play a variety of instruments each, what a cracking evening, what talent each band member has, put them together and they could grace any stage around the world. Would love to see them again. The grand is a lovely theatre and the volunteers who give their time are superb. Thank you all for making our evening something special. Merry Xmas to you all. ??

First time here, but we will definitely be back. Great size for a concert. Intimate, good acoustics, and very modern. Staff are friendly. We saw the awesome King King. Can't wait for their next gig. ?

Went to see the Arctic numpties and my first time at the grand was pleasantly surprised at how big the room was, toilets were easy to find and clean, price of drinks was ok and expected for a venue like that, overall was a good night and would recommend going .

Loved it here, it was advertised as all standing but if you’re unable to stand for long periods you can ask for a seat although you’d be at the back of the theatre it is a raised area, employee Charlotte sorted me out with a seat at this concert. I really enjoyed the night and would be looking forward to going again.
