Lovely food and really friendly

Great food. Delicious potatoes with cream cheese and lovely cakes. My only feedback would be to put a lid on the nappy bin in the toilet and improve the toilet area generally. But Great food and hope you do well.

Saw this place on face book so decided to give it a try. Has potential to be good but we were disappointed. Mish mash of cups. Americano in a glass cup n just instant coffee. Ordered cake and it was the smallest piece of cake ever. Milk served in a cup which went everywhere when poured. Whole place needs a good tidy up. Toys all messed up. Books in a mess. Dirty steps and toilet area. Also having the sliding gate across the front looks like they are closed. Know its for safety but there should be a notice on it saying please slide across, we are open. All just tips to improve things but hope you do well

Lovely cafe, my children loved it here and was playing happily while I enjoyed a hot drink. Nice healthy food choices. Wished I lived nearer so I could go more often

Great if you have little kids with you. Very helpful and with a barrier across the door to stop toddlers escaping

Perfect Family lunch Haven when in Clitheroe definitely approved by my 3 year old daughter

I regularly take my two year old daughter to Violets, it's honestly the best place to go with kids in Clitheroe. It's got a great play corner with dress up, play kitchen and shop. It's just enough to keep young children busy while being small and calm enough that they don't need much help or supervision. I can sit and keep an eye on her from a nearby table while having a delicious, healthy deli lunch or a coffee. The kids food is great to, simple, healthy, appealing to kids. Good for picky eaters also I think as there's lots of choice and you can really customise the kids meals. I definitely recommend!

The best cafe in Clitheroe!! Super friendly staff & the best little play area for children. The food has been amazing every time we have visited - their hot chocolates are the best I've ever had. Me and my girls love our visits to Violets.

Great for kids but I don’t feel it deserves the 5 stars on Google. We only had latte which was watery and T - cake which was fruit loaf and fine apart from the ‘end bit’ which had dried out but spoilt by being served with margarine. For 5 stars I would expect butter and a milky latte.
Our first visit today with our Grandson. The three of us loved it. Great food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service from the staff. Nothing more to say, except we will be going again.

Violet’s Deli is a great idea - Children get served their food first, which most parents will be grateful for, and there is a great play area for the children to enjoy while parents eat or have a catch up with friends. There’s plenty of choice on the menu and the food is good. It is a small cafe so does get busy at peak times - you may have to wait for a table. Definitely worth a visit if you have young kids.

This place is an absolute gem. The food for the little ones is ultra-tasty and ultra-healthy...and it's excellent for the adults too! The staff are the best.

A fabulous place to eat, especially if you have young children with you. A safe environment for children to eat and play, excellent food and very healthy options.
