Cafe Royale has been part of my upbringing for 40 years as it was my mother’s before.
It has always been consistently fantastic.
Although I haven’t visited for several years having moved to Australia I was talking about Cafe Royale to a colleague and stumbled on these google reviews.
This is a family run cafe, the menu has stayed pretty much the same since I first remembered it all those years ago even down to portion size. Everything is home cooked to a very high standard.
The 3 course menu was always divine and I enjoyed every trip up to Fleetwood when I lived in Manchester.

Should I be in the Flyde Coast area again I will no doubt visit Cafe Royale.

“TOP notch food - came twice for "tea" (dinner), first time with company and now on my own. Super fresh seafood / fish as well as carnivore options (steak / chicken / etc).

I highly recommend the dover sole (basically sole meuniere style) as well as the hake filet. Tasty, fresh and well cooked/presented. My company recommends the prime steak.

Service is lovely too and very forthcoming / attentive - came few times to ask if everything is alright or if I needed anything else.

“After a relaxing day visiting the animals at the Farmer Parrs Animal World, we stopped at the Tractor Shed Bistro where we had a lovely meal which was only £22 for two people which included The soup of the day (leek and potato) accompanied by your choice of sandwiches snd a beautifully flavoured capuccino.”
