Our family have been going to this little family -run- gem for over 30yrs, when my parents were alive. We come over from Morecambe as often as we can. The quality never varies, always excellent & VGVM. If I said the tender roast beef was the best in the North West, I would be doing them a dis-service. It is wonderful, you do not need a knife it is so tender, and always a very generous portion. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the place is immaculate & spotlessly clean....read full review

Been today for lunch I had liver and onion very tasty and plenty of it .the other half had fish with chips and bread and butter again plenty on the plate but to much for her to eat .would recommend Cafe Royal to anybody and we were allowed to take our dog in that's a bonus for

Excellent every time.Staff are delightful, food is just like mum used to make....yummy!The place is spotless, and prices are reasonable for the amount of food you getHighly recommend minced beef pie!
