Food was so delicious! We had toasties with huge delicious salads and a homemade cake. Staff were lovely and made you feel welcome as soon as you walked through the door! Great experience, will definitely be returning ☺️

Lovely food and drink, but unfortunately an unpleasant experience with one of the customers will mean we wont be returning.Near the end of our visit, one of the customers rudely walked over and interrupted our conversation to tell us how we were being "too loud and not welcome in Lancashire" (despite us living here for years) among many other rude comments towards myself and my partially deaf relatives - who she showed absolutely no consideration towardsShe then stormed out of the cafe, and was followed by one of the staff who apologised to her - and yet none of the staff members said a word of apology or concern to us after her rude behaviour. It didn't seem to matter to them that she had chosen to rudely attack us and tell us never to return, so we will choose to do exactly that. It's a real shame as the cafe itself does lovely food and drink, but would clearly rather show preference to rude customers who choose to verbally attack other diners rather than simply politely requesting us to quiten down a little (or just showing basic decency towards those who are hard of hearing), completely ruining what was meant to be a birthday celebration

Beef and onion sandwich and cheese and ham toasties. Both freshly cooked and delicious. Staff were all lovely. Made a fuss of our young dog. Would definitely

A friend and I stopped for breakfast whilst we were taking part in a charity walk. We both had a full English breakfast and a pot of tea. The tea arrived within seconds in a proper pot, not a stainless steel tea pot! The food arrived pretty quickly. The breakfast was cooked properly, the portion size was good and they obviously buy local from suppliers who care about their product as much as the cafe staff do! As you can see from the attached photo, there was nothing left! We couldn't fault the food, or the service. I don't get into Garstang too often but I will make sure I visit the Deli Cafe when I do!

Quick and efficient service in this friendly cafe. High quality produce and reasonable prices. The Quiche is fantastic with mixed salads. My wife had a superb roast beef sandwich as well. Very good coffee and tea. Great staff as well....One NOT to miss when in Garstang!

My lady had been here twice before so suggested give a visit as she had not been well and not eaten anything of note this week. Gosh is this a busy spot and deservedly so. E had fantastic quiche and I had a superb ham salad, unbelievable the sheer no of different salad elements provided and all assembled from the salad bar near to where you sit. None of this putting together in a non visible kitchen(this is a real + point). The service is exemplary, staff really pleasant and helpful. Gwen you really deserve nothing but praise and success for your lovely establishment. Also clear how you are an element of the local community almost knowing all your customers by their names. Well done, most certainly will be back

A nice little cafe in the centre of Garstang.Have a look of the menu on the wall before you sit down as they don't have menu's on each table.

I had Gwen's home-made spinach, cream cheese quiche yesterday with a lovely deli salad, it's a first for me to eat quiche, but all I can say is that it was absolutely gorgeous!! I will be back to have that again.

A small family-run deli-cafe offering quality food in a cosy friendly environment. We are regulars here and enjoy the soups, the roast beef and onion sandwiches and quiche salads especially. For desserts there are normally a range of cakes & tarts, and of course Gwen's famous blueberry scones. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. Downsides - opening hours are short, and payment by cash only.

Visited this small, but very friendly cafe, whilst on a visit to Garstang with my son. It was a terrible wet day and we wanted something to warm us up. It was busy as lunchtime but the ladies quickly found us a table at the back. We were shown the menu on the blackboard on the wall. My son had a sausage sandwich on a white bun - the quality of the ingredients was very good. I chose the hot beef and onion sandwich, which contained plenty of meat and onions. We were both offered condiments, but declined. I did think the food was overpriced as literally a sandwich on a plate with very little presentation - maybe a few crisps or garnish could be added. However, overall good service but if in Garstang again I think would try other cafes after reading reviews on here of other places.

I would definitely recommend this little gem of a cafe to anyone visiting Garstang. Amazingly delicious home cooked food (best quiche I've ever had), proper hot drinks all served by kind and friendly staff.
