Cafe Mila
65 Church St, Garstang, PrestonCafe Mila is fairly small but it was busy which is always a good sign. The ladies that seated us with menus and took our orders were lovely and friendly. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon (there are other choices inc veggie), with an extra sausage as I wanted to try them. The OH ordered the large full English but asked to remove the black pudding. They offered to swap it for something else so he piled on the bacon! Very few places do offer this now so it was a nice surprise. A latte and a flat white finished the order. Drinks came very fast. Food came relatively quickly. Enough time to cook from scratch but not an excessive wait. This is where it gets good. The Eggs Benny was delicious. Instead of an English muffin, it was served with soughdour. I love sourdough so I was happy but I know purists will probably want the muffin. The poached eggs were perfect; soft but with zero sloppy bits. Bacon was cooked to perfection, slightly browned but not dry. The OH declared his breakfast 10/10 which was high praise from him. The butchers sausages from next door were absolutely cracking. Meaty but no nasty bits. I've no idea what they do to their hash browns but wow, crispy yet soft and seasoned perfectly. All in all Cafe Mila was fabulous. It's a bit of a run out so it would definitely just be a weekend spot for us but given it was constantly busy all the time we were there, I imagine it's a very hot local spot. If you want a delicious breakfast give Cafe Mila a go. You seriously won't be disappointed.

Dantes Italian Takeaway
68A Church Street, Garstang, PrestonI wish I lived in Garstang as this is one of the most original takeaway menus I have seen anywhere in the world. My wife loves the seafood pizza but I have tried a few different dishes. Just had a fantastic tortellini. The sweets are amazing and prices so reasonable. Friendly staff and authentic food. Recommended.

The White Bull at Bilsborrow
The White Bull at, Garstang Road, Bilsborrow, PrestonA proper good old school pub. Food was superb, one of the best steak pies that I've EVER had.
Some decent beer offers on a weekday (can literally get 2 pints for the price of 1 in any other pub on a weeknight).
Staff are fantastic and have a great sense of humour and are very welcoming.

High St, Garstang, PrestonCame to work at garstang for 6 days away from home and once discovered the crown I don't wona go home....food amazing roast lamb dinner.....bar staff are second to non amazing atmosphere polite kind and funny can't wait to come bk at Xmas for a 2 week stay.....a real credit to garstang community you people are so nice.....

Having lived in Garstang for over 20 years, this has always been our go-to café, and for good reason. The coffee is consistently excellent, and the food is always fresh, tasty, and made from quality ingredients.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The café is dog friendly, which is a huge bonus for us, and the staff and owner are genuinely lovely people who always make you feel at home.
If you're looking for great coffee, delicious fresh food, and fantastic service, I couldn't recommend this deli-café highly enough. A real gem in the heart of Garstang. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cobblers Bar And Bistro
6 High St, Garstang, Preston1st time visit with friends and had a wonderful time! it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff are so lovely. Two of us ordered one of the milkshakes and the guy who made it had recently trained and what we received were gorgeous! A friend wanted some olives in her salad and they brought her a really generous bowl full of varied Olives out! The dishes were colourful, healthy, beautifully presented and fresh. looking forward to coming back thank you all!

Weavers Lane, Garstang, PrestonLittle gem with lovely staff and five star food and drinks. (The hot chocolate and cappuccino is the best!) The welcome was worth five stars alone. My parents and daughter loved it. Brilliant as it still serves food and cake and coffee when most cafes are shut. Thank you for a great late afternoon.

Farmers arms
18 Church St, Garstang, PrestonWe stayed in their car park for 2 nights in our motorhome. A lovely pub , dog friendly . The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We had pate on toast, steak and ale pie , piping hot all the way through and very tasty. Likewise I had garlic mushrooms then pan seared chicken with a cream, leek and cheese sauce, again piping hot all the way through with chips and fresh veg. It was that good I still got the pleasant aftertaste of cheese 2 hrs later. Very morish.
The second day was a roast dinner with it being Sunday. Delicious even our dog (Mr T) was begging me for some.
All in all an excellent experience so I thought it only right to put £20 behind the bar for the staff. Will definately be back.

The menu offered a variety of dishes, ensuring there was something to suit everyone’s tastes. The food was beautifully prepared, cooked to a high standard and served in generous portions, offering excellent value for money. There was also a good selection of drinks to complement the food. I must mention the outstanding hospitality. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout, providing excellent service without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed and inviting, making it an ideal setting for both families and groups of friends. It’s clear that great care is taken in every aspect of the dining experience, from the quality of the food to the level of customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning. I would not hesitate to recommend The Wheatsheaf to anyone looking for a memorable meal in a welcoming environment ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stoops Hall Wind, Garstang, PrestonWhat better place to rest after a long walk with a dog. Dog and people friendly. Generous portion of chips and proper breaded chicken fillet. Both served piping hot. Thank you
