Cafe Mila
65 Church St, Garstang, PrestonCafe Mila is fairly small but it was busy which is always a good sign. The ladies that seated us with menus and took our orders were lovely and friendly. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with bacon (there are other choices inc veggie), with an extra sausage as I wanted to try them. The OH ordered the large full English but asked to remove the black pudding. They offered to swap it for something else so he piled on the bacon! Very few places do offer this now so it was a nice surprise. A latte and a flat white finished the order. Drinks came very fast. Food came relatively quickly. Enough time to cook from scratch but not an excessive wait. This is where it gets good. The Eggs Benny was delicious. Instead of an English muffin, it was served with soughdour. I love sourdough so I was happy but I know purists will probably want the muffin. The poached eggs were perfect; soft but with zero sloppy bits. Bacon was cooked to perfection, slightly browned but not dry. The OH declared his breakfast 10/10 which was high praise from him. The butchers sausages from next door were absolutely cracking. Meaty but no nasty bits. I've no idea what they do to their hash browns but wow, crispy yet soft and seasoned perfectly. All in all Cafe Mila was fabulous. It's a bit of a run out so it would definitely just be a weekend spot for us but given it was constantly busy all the time we were there, I imagine it's a very hot local spot. If you want a delicious breakfast give Cafe Mila a go. You seriously won't be disappointed.

I haven't been for a few years but still as perfect as ever. You can really feel like you can dress up and not out of place which is hard to find in the Fylde/Wyre areas! Can't wait to return.

Market Pl, Garstang, PrestonCalled in this unassuming cafe with my wife & dog for a late lunch after a walk & ordered a warm quiche with salad & a coffee, I was expecting a slice of quiche & a few salad leaves with tomato but I had to do a double take at what turned up, I thought the plate must have been for us both to share as it completely filled a large dinner plate, packed with a huge quiche portion, pasta shells in pesto sauce, bulgar wheat, curried chickpeas, cucumber, tomato, salad leaves, beetroot, potato salad, coleslaw, red onions, it was fabulous ?.
Lovely attentive staff who even brought out some dog biscuits ?.
This place is opposite The Royal Oak pub by the Market place stone cross, don’t pass by as it’s great ??

Dantes Italian Takeaway

The Crown Hotel
High St, Garstang, PrestonCame to work at garstang for 6 days away from home and once discovered the crown I don't wona go home....food amazing roast lamb dinner.....bar staff are second to non amazing atmosphere polite kind and funny can't wait to come bk at Xmas for a 2 week stay.....a real credit to garstang community you people are so nice.....

Weavers Ln, Garstang, PrestonFound by accident. Lovely dog friendly place with really good food at really reasonable prices. Views were great and staff were fab. Went for tea Saturday and then went back for breakfast Sunday!

Cobblers Bar And Bistro
6 High St, Garstang, Preston1st time visit with friends and had a wonderful time! it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. The staff are so lovely. Two of us ordered one of the milkshakes and the guy who made it had recently trained and what we received were gorgeous! A friend wanted some olives in her salad and they brought her a really generous bowl full of varied Olives out! The dishes were colourful, healthy, beautifully presented and fresh. looking forward to coming back thank you all!

Farmers arms
18 Church St, Garstang, PrestonWe stayed in their car park for 2 nights in our motorhome. A lovely pub , dog friendly . The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. We had pate on toast, steak and ale pie , piping hot all the way through and very tasty. Likewise I had garlic mushrooms then pan seared chicken with a cream, leek and cheese sauce, again piping hot all the way through with chips and fresh veg. It was that good I still got the pleasant aftertaste of cheese 2 hrs later. Very morish.
The second day was a roast dinner with it being Sunday. Delicious even our dog (Mr T) was begging me for some.
All in all an excellent experience so I thought it only right to put £20 behind the bar for the staff. Will definately be back.

Wild Bean Cafe
By Pass Road, Preston Lancaster New Rd, Garstang, Churchtown, PrestonWent for fuel and nearly used the high volume pump for my little diesel car. Realised I was in the wrong place just in time. Fuel on the Fylde coast is ridiculously expensive.

2 Bridge St, Garstang, PrestonI have been using East N Spice for over 20 years now, always the same friendly welcome, always the same lovely food. We have tried most of the menu over the years with family and friends and only ever had compliments. The meats are always tender and no matter what you order, full of flavour. The vegetables are always cooked nice too and in particular I do love the vegetable Samber! We are lucky to have you serve our community as you do. Thank-you.

Subway
The Old Stablespark, Hill Road, Garstang, PrestonIt’s a subway so you know what you are getting, it’s not the worst example of a subway but it also isn’t the best. No idea why the toilet is closed off, some of the staff are lovely and others truly miserable and terrifying. Also this thing where just eat customers get all the attention when you are literally stood in front of them in an empty shop is just boring.
