What a fantastic place. Definitely the most authentic tapas restaurant we have visited in the UK. In fact the decor and ambiance had us thinking we were back in Madrid. The food and service were exceptional. The fabada (bean stew) from the specials board was packed full of flavour and was as good as Joe, the owner, described. Great food and nice people. Unfortunately they got the order wrong and the service was very slow even though we were one of only 4 tables being served that evening. I would recommend it for the tapas and the tinto de verano though.

We had a lovely evening here celebrating a birthday with family. The food was delicious and everyone was friendly. My personal highlight was the mellow Oloroso sherry. We were lucky enough to be there when a very nice couple were playing live music. Mostly Spanish but some in English too. The vibe was perfect, gentle and pleasant and we all loved it.
