The best tasting food in Lancaster. Always tastes fresh and authentic. Great wines and sangria as

Lovely food (patatas bravas better than in Spain!) & friendly owner - will definitely be visiting again.

Very authentic and delicious Spanish food. Although the restaurant is in an unassuming place in the city center, but when you walk in, you'll find it has a warm, lovely, and very Spanish-style decor. The food tastes delicious, exactly like what you can eat in Spain, also the meun is very extensive. The only thing I might not be satisfied with is the small portion sizes of the dishes.

Had an amazing night at El Tapeo. The food was delicious and came out quickly and the service was also 5-stars. Everyone was really attentive. I went for a birthday dinner and banners were put up for me when I hadn’t even asked. It just made my night and I can’t wait to go back.

We came for a meal here for my partners birthday. The staff were inattentive, the food was okay, although my partner and I have been up all night with food poisoning. Don't recommend.

Food tasted amazing, but the service was very poor. Staff not attentive and didn't seem that bothered. Sauces etc were missing from the foods, and when I asked for them, the waiter didn't come back. Had to ask the waitress for the card machine a couple of times before we could pay.

A vibrant and welcoming place with a great atmosphere.. we went on a Saturday evening and I’m glad we booked as all the tables were full. We ordered 6 different tapas between the two of us which was ample as the portion sizes were plentiful for tapas…. The crab claw was the only let down as I don’t think it was fresh crab…. Other than that a lovely restaurant serving lovely food and a good selection of wine at a very reasonable price.

Found this place by looking on line, saw it had good reviews and booked, it's located down a side street in Lancaster, but the tapas is excellent with plenty to eat and the price with beers a bottle of wine came to less than £20 each, give it a try.

Top quality food with fast efficient service. Called early doors without a reservation; the Seafood Paella and a Manchego + a Serrano Ham Pincho were served up quickly. The extensive menu beckons me back for more❗️

We had a lovely evening here celebrating a birthday with family. The food was delicious and everyone was friendly. My personal highlight was the mellow Oloroso sherry. We were lucky enough to be there when a very nice couple were playing live music. Mostly Spanish but some in English too. The vibe was perfect, gentle and pleasant and we all loved it.

This is without doubt, the best restaurant in Lancaster, thank you to the owners and staff for another lovely meal. We look forward to coming back soon ??

What a fantastic place. Definitely the most authentic tapas restaurant we have visited in the UK. In fact the decor and ambiance had us thinking we were back in Madrid. The food and service were exceptional. The fabada (bean stew) from the specials board was packed full of flavour and was as good as Joe, the owner, described. The other stand out for us was also having pinchos on the menu. Overall it was a great experience and the place is a real credit to Joe and his staff. As we travel up and down the M6 fairly regularly we will definitely be back.
