This used to be a good place for food. Based on tonight's experience it's not anymore and there's better choices in Lancaster. Poor preparation, poor presentation, we will not eat there again.

This is a really nice City Centre pub in a good location. Stayed a couple of times in the lovely rooms upstairs when visiting Lancaster. It is now the place I recommend to people. The rooms are lovely and characterful, and the staff always friendly. Breakfast is brilliant too.

Very nice place, very beautiful for a milestone birthday party and the whole experience was very special. From checking into our room at L'Enclume House to leaving after breakfast at Rogan & Co, the service was impeccable and friendly.The very relaxed atmosphere added to our enjoyment. Not full at all.As for the food - two words - epic and fantastic.Each course is a work of art, with such an array of textures and tastes unmatched. And as one would expect..We also loved the breakfast the next morning. No menu but an array of delicacies delivered to our table - best described as a breakfast picnic with hits and cold dishes. The final touch was making fresh cranberry cookies in a bag to take with us.

My family and I are from the States. We reserved a wonderful table. The manager and waitress were exceptionally kind, wonderful and knowledgeable about their menu. The restaurant itself is a vibe! We can easily eat here for any meal! We ordered these starters: goat cheese bon bons, stuffed mushrooms, pork belly, and doughnut. ALL WERE FANTASTIC. My personal favorite was the goat cheese bon bons. (We began eating so no photos of the starters) For entrees, we ordered the gnocchi, sirloin steak, chicken Kiev, katsu chicken and beef pie. Everything was DELICIOUS. If you're in Lancaster, definitely recommend this restaurant! Honestly some of the best food we had while in the UK!

The landing door to the bedrooms needs to have a slow closing mechanism. It was very very noisy and we were in room 9 right by it.

Absolutely beautiful place to chill and relax and have a good quality drink. It's the only place Iv ever found to sell German brewed ABK beer on draught.!The staff are always super chilled and friendly and the atmosphere always upbeat and buzzing . I love it here.
Walkability: In the heart of Lancaster, 10 minutes from the train station and 5 from the bus station.

Attended the Fawlty Towers Dining experience here on 24th Jan 2024. It was brilliant and the food was really good too. Beautifully cooked and presented (apart from Manuel throwing the garnish for the soup at us! ?) and very tasty.
