Great location nightmare parking. Room was very nice unfortunately the last occupants decided the bathroom was the smoking area but you can not blame the team for that. The food was great and the staff very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend this place.

I've catched an eye on this place because of many positive reviews.This place positioning as 4 star hotel but it isn't obvious if you look on it from the outside.Check in desk connected to the bar.I've was surprised how cozy and qualitive was the room inside.To open the room you use iron key?Switches on lightning is oldfashioned but...every detail works as it should! Everyone! They even put a glass for wine.In most of the hotels in UK the weak side is conditioning system and heating....read full review

We popped in for a late morning drink when visiting Lancaster. Behind the bar was Joe who gave us a warm welcome. We were too early to be given the drinks we ordered but enjoyed a chat with the staff until 11am had passed and the 'all clear' was given - great service!The bar has a range of Lancaster Brewery Ales always on tap plus a selection of ales from further afield. A good variety to enjoy.It's an attractive and characterful venue to visit: recommended.
