Stayed over on the 16th March. Our 2nd stay now at the stalk. The same warm welcome and service, great atmosphere experienced. Lovely comfy rooms with a good night's sleep. Breakfast service and food high quality with morning warm friendly welcome as guided to our table. Served food for us when we came back in later on from a day out in Lancaster. Everyone enjoyed their meals, very tasty. Highly recommend the flat mushrooms on toast with cheddar/stilton. The vegetarian cooked full breakfast was excellent quality too the following morning. Thank you from myself and my husband, see you next year again. A great team you all are at the Stalk too! ???

Stayed here overnight , the rooms are a good size for short stays, with a very nice coffee machine with pods, or you can use the normal satchets of coffee or tea bags. There are also biscuits provided.The shower is very powerful and very nice.The breakfast was ample and well presented with friendly servers, and unlimited coffee/Tea and juice is offered.

Room lovely clean and tidy. No Atmosphere. Booked in for evening meal at 7 o clock got to the waitress about 7.30 asked to order she looked amazing just walked round with her head down to the floor so you couldn't attract her attention, when the meal arrived my steak was tough and my wife's was cold and tough, when it arrived back it was still just warm so the dogs enjoyed it .The breakfast was great the guy on duty was great. When booking don't get Room 5 as the door lock is not working ? it takes a lot of time to get in.

Americans in Lancaster loved the food and drinks. Wesley, our server and bartender, was excellent. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable and friendly. The stork's interior design was comfy and classy. We ordered the sausage & mash, gammon steak, lasagna, chicken & pancetta pie and beef rib. The appetizers were three cheese mushroom bruschetta and southern fried chicken goujons. For desert we had the s'more brownie. We were very impressed and loved every second of this place. Should we ever come back to Lancaster, this is the place we will be looking forward to visiting again! Cheers!

Great hotel in a lovely location close to Glasson Dock. Very reasonably priced.The staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was very clean and nicely presented. The breakfast was excellent.We had an evening meal in the restaurant. Lots of choice on the menu, 'though would have liked to have seen some local fare. Would highly recommend.
